The employee of a California Space Force sushi supplier has pleaded guilty to filming women, without their knowledge, while they were naked in an employee bathroom, after his secret recording device was found under a sink.
Aung K. Zin had been contracted as an employee at the Vandenberg Space Force Base commissary when he was charged November 10 with one federal count of video voyeurism, he pleaded guilty the same day.
His case filings obtained by the Daily Beast - which were only unsealed on Monday - said Zin had been sentenced to three years supervised probation and would need to pay $325 in fines.
Zin, who worked for Advanced Fresh Concepts (AFC) a California company that provides sushi services to the missile base, told investigators that he had been secretly taping employees since December 2020.
On January 5 earlier this year, Zin's furtive recorder was discovered in an employee-only bathroom hidden underneath the sink.
Investigators conducted a forensic review of the video camera's memory card in which they recovered several images that had been deleted including those which 'depicted four nude women using a toilet and two images of the subject [Zin].'
In one picture, Zin could allegedly be seen wearing his work uniform with the AFC logo and the first two letters of his nickname, Eric.

Zin was interviewed by investigators on April 22, in which he 'admitted to running and installing the video recording device and had been doing so since December 2020.'
It is unclear in the judgement and probation order made by the United State District Court Central District of California how many other victims may have been affected since 2020.
Apart from the fine and probationary period it was ruled that Zin 'need not register as a sex offender' and that the 'imposition of jail time shall be suspended' if he followed the probationary terms and conditions.
The judgement states that as part of the three-year probation Zin would need to 'comply with the rules and regulations of the Probation Office and Second Amended General Order 20-04.'
'Standard Condition of Probation 4 regarding out-of-district travel is stricken,' the judgement continued.
'The defendant shall pay the fine and special assessment as ordered herein on or before December 9, 2022, pursuant to the separate Notice of Order for Payment of Fine.'
It went on to say that 'upon payment of the fine and special assessment, completion of the special condition set forth below, and completion of eighteen (18) months of probation with no violations, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3601, the Probation Officer shall have the discretion to implement unsupervised probation for the remainder of the probationary term.'
'While on unsupervised probation, the defendant shall not commit another federal, state, or local crime, and shall notify the Probation Officer at least ten days before any change in residence or employment,' it read.

It remains unclear at this time how many victims of the AFC sushi worker there were from December 2020 till January 2022 - when his recording device which revealed deleted pictures of Zin and 'four nude women' was found
Dailymail.com has contacted Jeffery Seiler, the president and CEO of AFC.
An auto-generated email reply on Tuesday from Seiler said he was out of the office until Tuesday afternoon. The urgent contact Mari Nagakusa has also been contacted for comment.
At this time it is unclear whether Zin is still employed by AFC and what safety measures have been put in place for its female employees.
Dailymail.com has also contact the base commander's action line and public affairs office for comment.
It remains unclear at this time how many victims there were from December 2020, what measures the base has put in place to avoid an incident like this happening again and whether Zin is still allowed onto the premises.

Vandenberg sits on about 100,000 acres of terrain ideally situated for rocket and missile launches, and plays host to Elon Musk's SpaceX, which leases the two-pad Space Launch Complex 4 (SLC-4) for launches and landings.
The first of SpaceX's Starlink communications satellites was launched from Vandenberg in 2018, and SLC-4 most recently sent a Space X Falcon-9 rocket into orbit on October 27.
