A toddler is feared to have been bitten by a highly venomous brown snake after it was found crawling over the youngster at an Australian daycare.
Paramedics rushed to the Kidz at the Beach childcare centre in Bowen, North Queensland about 1.35pm on Tuesday.
The child was reportedly found with two puncture wounds on their hand, with the brown snake measuring about 40cm.

The condition of the toddler is not confirmed but brown snakes are considered among the world's most dangerous.
Fully grown eastern brown snakes can reach up to 2.5 metres but some species of even young brown snakes are considered venomous enough to be deadly.
