Horrific video footage showed the moment a Miami man drank an entire cup of bleach and collapsed while waiting to hear the verdict for armed robbery charges.
Jermaine Bell, 38, mysteriously got hold of a cup of bleach and chugged it amid being found guilty of armed robbery. He is seen in a video collapsing almost immediately and being taken out of the courtroom by paramedics.
Bell has been in prison for three years after posing as a courier and pulling a gun on employees while at the Millennium Engine Plating factory at 600 W. 84 Street in Miami on December 2, 2018.
Spectators were astonished about how Bell got the poisonous cup and are calling for accountability.
'I see him drinking something that's not right,' Reverend Jerome Starling, a relative of Bell told Local 10 News. 'His attorneys are letting him drink it. Corrections letting him drink it. All of a sudden I see him collapse. And I said how could this happen. This should not be happening to people who are in custody at all.'
Bell survived the potential death scare.

Bell, who was dressed in a suit, can be seen in the video drinking from what appeared to be a white disposable cup.
The Miami-Dade inmate was then approached by an officer who attempted to get Bell to spit up the liquid into a trash can.
Rather than listen, Bell continued to chug from the cup until he eventually sat down and collapsed.
It's unclear what happened immediately after, but Bell can be seen being taken away in a stretcher by medical professionals while wearing an orange jumpsuit.
Bell's cousin, who recorded the video of Bell drinking the bleach, said she was instantly tried to help him.
'I was the only one like that jumped up and tried to get him help,' the cousin told the news outlet. '[It's] very emotional for the whole family. We thought we were going to lose Jermaine that day.'
The Miami-Dade County Corrections and Miami-Dade police are investigating how Bell got ahold of the cup of bleach.
The departments weren't immediately available to DailyMail.com for a comment.
