The ex-girlfriend of Fotis Dulos was seen smiling while heading to court over his wife's disappearance and murder.
Michelle Troconis, 46, walked side-by-side with her attorney Jon Schoenhorn and mom on Tuesday while heading into a Stamford, Connecticut courthouse to challenge prosecutor's actions against her in the Jennifer Dulos murder case.
Jennifer, a mom of five, went missing in May 2019 amid a bitter divorce and child custody battle with Fotis after 13 years of marriage, and her body was never found. Her estranged husband was originally charged with her murder but committed suicide before heading to trial.
Troconis was dating Fotis, 52, at the time of Michelle's disappearance and prosecutors say she helped her boyfriend cover up his tracks and lie to police.
Now, prosecutors are accusing Troconis' legal team of tampering with evidence - and attorney Schoenhorn is arguing that prosecutors violated his client's rights by reading a private letter he wrote to Troconis.
The 46-year-old is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, evidence tampering and hindering prosecution.

Prosectors are attempting to remove Troconis' attorney, from the case and allege that Schoenhorn tampered with evidence by turning in a sweatshirt filled with DNA hair strands that matched a former employee of Fotis, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Meanwhile, Schoenhorn is attempting to remove the Norwalk-Stamford State's Attorney Office from the murder case because they violated the Troconis' rights when they read a note meant only for his client that was submitted along with the sweatshirt.
Schoenhorn is tight-lipped and hasn't told prosecutors where he got the sweatshirt. It is unclear what was in the 'private' note.
Jennifer Dulos' body has never been found
Troconis has maintained that she never helped harm or kill Jennifer. She also said she has no idea what happened to her.
Footage of Tronconis' police interviews were previously released and showed her crying and telling detectives that she wasn't trying to protect her ex-boyfriend Fotis.
'I'm not protecting him. I'm not protecting him...I really don't want to see him ever again in my life,' she begged in the video.
Schoenhorn previously attempted to dismiss the charges against Tronconis but failed.
Police previously claimed that Tronconis admitted she lied to detectives for Fotis.

Detectives believe that Fotis attacked Jennifer in the garage of her rented home in New Canaan on Nay 24, 2019 before he allegedly discarded her body with Troconis.
While police have yet to find Jennifer's remains, they did discover pools of blood in her garage which someone had attempted to mop up and clean. They also found traces of her blood in her car - which was later found abandoned in a parking lot.
Police said that Jennifer had dropped her kids off at school before she was attacked.
Investigators found bags of items which included Dulos' blood and DNA disposed in Hartford, but some evidence was never found.
A piece of carpet, believed to be from her SUV, was also never found by detectives looking into the case. Authorities reported finding traces of blood on a cell phone and a tablet that were discovered in the master bedroom of the home.
In divorce documents before her death, Dulos said she knew the filing would enrage her husband.
She claimed that he would 'retaliate by trying to harm her in some way' and claimed that he exhibited 'irrational, unsafe, bullying, threatening and controlling behavior.'
According to court documents she said: 'I am afraid for my safety and the physical safety and emotional well-being of our minor children.'
Her estranged husband Fotis denied any involvement in Jennifer's disappearance up until he committed suicide in January 2020.
Meanwhile, Troconis pleaded previously pleaded not guilty in February 2020.
She is currently free on bond.
