Lamar Jackson will not be healthy enough to start Sunday's game for the Baltimore Ravens against the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
The former MVP quarterback was absent from practice all week as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh confirmed the news, saying 'It looks like it's going to be Tyler on Sunday.'
Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is in line to get the start vs. Pittsburgh
Last week, starter Lamar Jackson injured his knee and was forced to leave the rest of the game
Jackson is officially listed as doubtful for the game, but signs point to Huntley taking snaps Sunday.
Baltimore has lost five of the last six games that Lamar Jackson hasn't started with a current losing streak of four.
The Ravens are currently in pole position in the AFC North, with ESPN's Football Power Index giving them a 74 percent chance to win the division if they beat the Steelers.
Huntley stepped in for Jackson, completing 84 percent of his passes and rushing in the winner
If Baltimore loses, the lead would likely go to the Cincinnati Bengals who have a favorable matchup this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.
Huntley stepped in for Jackson after he went down last week against the Broncos. He completed 84 percent of his passes for 187 yards and rushed for 41 yards and the game winning touchdown.
This is Huntley's third season in the NFL out of the University of Utah. He appeared in seven games last season after Jackson was injured, compiling a 2-5 record.
