Shannon Sharpe loses it on live TV in heated row with Skip Bayless over Tom Brady

Shannon Sharpe completely lost his cool on live television after Skip Bayless compared the Hall of Famer to Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.

The pair were discussing the 45-year-old following the Bucs' heavy 35-7 defeat by the San Francisco 49ers Sunday on their regular Undisputed show on Monday.

Bayless compared Brady playing at the age of 45 to Sharpe calling it a day when he was 10 years younger.

'This man is playing at a high level at 45 when you had to stop at 35,' Bayless said.

Sharpe was not happy, he replied: 'That's what you do. Every time I call something into question, I get it.'

He went on to defend himself strongly, saying: 'I did what I did! You make it seem like I was a bum! I'm in the effin' Hall of Fame. I got three Super Bowls!'

Bayless did not back down, he said: 'So what? He's way better than you were.'

The comment only angered Sharpe further and as he tried to speak Bayless interrupted, leading to the former tight end screaming 'Time out!' and throwing his glasses down onto the table.

Sharpe then said: 'You're willing to take a personal shot at me, to say he's better than me, because I say he's playing bad this year?'

Bayless responded by accusing Sharpe of disrespecting Brady which was beneath his co-host's 'dignity'. 

The heated segment finished with Bayless saying: 'I'll support him [Brady] over anybody because he's the greatest player who ever played your game and it's by far.'

Brady threw two interceptions as the Bucs struggled against an impressive 49ers defense, although the Bucs remain at the top of the NFC South table.
