A female staffer with the Tennessee State football program allegedly drove her car into a player's vehicle in an act of raging act of jealousy.
Ariel Escobar, the Tigers' director of football operations and on-campus recruiting, rammed her car into TSU running back Devon Starling's while he and his girlfriend were seated inside, he told Davidson County police in the early hours of December 3. The university employee would later tell police that she wanted Starling to admit to his girlfriend that he and Escobar had a 'sexual relationship,' according to court records obtained by TMZ.
Escobar was allegedly following Starling in her car outside of his apartment building, prompting him to phone police. After driving around for a bit, Starling returned and parked his car.

It's then that Escobar allegedly drove into the parking lot, first blocking Starling's car before ramming into it twice. Starling said his car suffered minor damage, and both he and his girlfriend were afraid Escobar would hurt them with her vehicle.
Escobar would drive away, but later returned, which is when she was arrested, according to court documents. Police say she denied using her car to block's vehicle and informed officers that she wanted the football player to admit to his girlfriend that he had a sexual relationship with Escobar.
Police says she also confessed to throwing ketchup on the girlfriend's door, which she also admittedly scratched.
Starling says he has video of Escobar hitting his vehicle with hers, according to police.
In her brief career, Escobar has worked in the San Jose State football program in a similar role to her current position, and served as an intern for the NFL's Chicago Bears, according to her Wikipedia page. The former Ohio Valley Conference Co-Freshman of the Year, Starling has 540 yards and a touchdown on 116 carries this season. He also added another touchdown and 221 yards on 16 catches
Escobar is due back in court on January 9 after being released from custody on $7,000 bond. She has not returned DailyMail.com's request for comment.
Tennessee State is aware of her arrest, but is not commenting on the situation.
'TSU is unable to comment on specific personnel matters or matters potentially implicating student privacy laws,' read a school statement. We will have no further comment at this time.'
