Hall of Fame receiver Cris Carter revealed Tom Brady Sr.'s concerns that his NFL superstar son will never quit playing.
Tom Brady almost stopped playing this year but only managed 40 days in retirement before announcing he would return to the league for his 23rd season.
The star quarterback will be a free agent in 2023 and will have to make a decision over his football future and a possible 24th season in the NFL but Brady's seeming reluctance to stop playing is reportedly a source of worry for his dad.

Tom Brady only managed six weeks in retirement before announcing he would return
Carter recalled a conversation he had with Brady Sr. prior to Brady winning his seventh Super Bowl title with the Buccaneers in February 2021.
He claimed Brady's dad was worried that his son would never stop playing no matter how many times he wins.
Speaking on FanDuel TV's 'Up & Adams', Carter said: 'The night before the game, I happen to meet up with Tom Brady's dad and asked him what he thought about the game, the opportunity to win again.
'He said the only thing he's worried about is the kid, the kid won't go home. He said "the kid is outside still playing, and he won't come in. It's raining, everything." He said, "I am only afraid the kid won't stop playing even if he wins.'''
Brady and the Bucs went on to clinch the Super Bowl title the following day with a 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Almost two years later, the quarterback is still playing and is about to enter free agency for only the second time in his career ahead of a potential 24th season in the NFL.
Carter likened the league to a drug and suggested the seven-time Super Bowl winner had an addiction.

'He won that game and he's still playing,' Carter told host Kay Adams. 'So the dad told him, so it is a problem.
'The NFL is a drug, man, and there is no other office job, partnership, relationship, we got great players broadcasting, running teams — it's nothing like the NFL… to hoist the [Vince] Lombardi [trophy] seven times, man, that's a drug and he's got it. He's got it bad.'
There is a chance Brady could return for a 24th season, following his divorce from model Gisele Bundchen.
According to a report by NFL.Com the 45-year-old Brady had planned to step back from football for good after the 2022 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But things may have changed. Brady is reportedly keeping all options open and apparently feels good enough to keep playing.
The report adds that Brady will have family considerations to include if he keeps playing, as his children, Jack, 15, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian Lake, 10, live on the east coast.
For now, Brady is focussing on the rest of the season with the Buccaneers, whose playoff hopes took a major hit Sunday.
Tampa Bay was thrashed 35-7 by 'Mr. Irrelevant' Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday evening.
It was a far from an ideal homecoming for Brady in Santa Clara as the Niners' blowout win pushed Tampa Bay to 6-7 and closer to the brink of possible exclusion from the postseason.
