Emma Stone and Margaret Qualley appeared battered and bruised while filming a scene for the new movie AND in New Orleans on Friday.

The talented performers, 34 and 28 respectively, looked emotional on set as they acted out a crash scene.

While in character the Superbad star put on a distressed presentation and the Maid actress had a bloody face.

She wore the blazer open to reveal an oatmeal-colored blouse that she tucked into her trousers. 

The Cruella star's red locks were styled in a bob and an off-center part as she worked in the Louisiana sun.

She had on a full face of makeup that was complete with darkened eyebrows and a brick-hued lip stain.

Her hair was pulled back during the emotional scene that saw the two wreck a purple sports car.

The Netflix sensation was dressed in a hooded black windbreaker jacket worn over a white t-shirt.

Details about the premise of the project are under wraps, but it features a cast of A-listers with shooting scheduled through mid-December.

The movie was first announced in late September and it was revealed that Stone and Taylor Swift's boyfriend Joe Alwyn would reunite with Yorgos Lanthimos, who directed them in The Favourite.

They are joined by an ensemble cast that includes Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Hong Chau and Mamoudou Athie.
