The former girlfriend of Prince Harry, Cressida Bonas has revealed her journey with IVF after welcoming her first child last month.
The model and actress, 33, announced she had given birth to a baby boy with husband Harry Wenworth Stanley last month.
In an article published by The Sunday Times, Cressida describes how she felt as though 'my body was failing me' after facing difficulties in conceiving, and when a specialist told the couple 'there was nothing fundamentally wrong'.

The actress wrote: 'I spent time and money on reflexology, nutritionists, acupuncture and psychics…Even a German healer who speaks to angels. I heard nothing, not a squeak.
'My mind was on a constant worry loop and my obsession with getting pregnant became overwhelming, No matter how many Mystic Megs I saw or expensive supplements I took, nothing was working, and I felt as if my body was failing me.'
Cressida admitted to 'avoiding' loved one's children's parties due to feeling out of place around her friends who had kids, amid the struggle to have her own.
She went on to say that IVF firstly 'frightened' her due to having no 'power' over the final outcome.

Following a successful first round in the treatment the new mum and beau Harry welcomed their son in November and acknowledged how 'lucky' they were.
Cressida added: 'I am aware how fortunate we are. We haven't suffered the extreme heartbreaks that other couples have. I count myself extremely lucky that IVF worked for us the first time.'
The model continued to praise the social media community she shared her experience with so she didn't feel 'alone'.

She tied the knot with Wentworth Stanley, who’s a partner in a property investment firm, in July 2020. He’s the son of the Marchioness of Milford Haven.
Cressida famously dated Prince Harry between 2012 until 2014 after the pair were first introduced by his cousin Princess Eugenie.
The former couple remain on good terms and socialise in similar circles, with Eugenie among Cressida's closest friends.
Cressida even attended her ex-boyfriend's wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018.
A family member told MailOnline just 30 of Cressida and Wentworth Stanley's closest family and friends attended their wedding ceremony, in keeping with the government's Covid-19 restrictions.
'It was a beautiful ceremony and they are just so happy,' the source said at the time. 'It was a very private and intimate ceremony and that is what they wanted.'
