Aaron Rodgers and the Packers traveled to Chicago for a December 4 game against their old rival, where tempers are always likely to flare, and so they did high up in the stands at Soldier Field.
A video which surfaced on Twitter showed a Green Bay fan - albeit wearing a Chicago scarf - arguing with a Bears fan in hostile territory before verbal barbs turned into a physical scrap.
The man draped in a Chicago Bears hat put his adversary in a headlock before transitioning to a WWE-style chokeslam grip before sending the fan tumbling down a flight of stairs in frightening fashion.

The man seemed to be unnerved by the near-death experience, bouncing back to his feet before coming back for more.
Both parties started to goad each other verbally again, before the soon-to-be viral video ends.
It is unclear at this moment whether the Bears fan has been charged or received any form of punishment. Nor is it known what injuries, if any, were suffered by the victim.

In the game itself, the battered man got the last laugh - with Green Bay prevailing 28-19 over Chicago.
It was yet another loss for the Bears against its arch-nemesis. The historic franchise has not beaten the Packers since a December victory at Soldier Field in 2018.
Chicago has lost 12 of its last 13 games against Green Bay, dating all the way back to 2016.
