Dog The Bounty Hunter costar David Robinson's autopsy reveals that he died from heart disease

The late Dog's Most Wanted star David Robinson's cause of death has been released after his wife shared the results of an autopsy.

Robinson's wife Brooke Robinson revealed that the autopsy report determined that the 50-year-old bounty hunter had died as the result of critical coronary artery disease, she told TMZ on Friday.

Robinson's wife had previously denied that he died of a heart attack or stroke, though he appears to have still died of a heart-related issue.

The reality star died suddenly on November 30 when he collapsed in the midst of a Zoom call, and he died in his wife's arms.

Brooke Robinson told the publication that her husband's sudden death had left a 'void' in her life, and she was still in shock about the speed with which he was taken from her.

She told TMZ that she was remembering her late husband for 'his smile that would light up the world, his amazing laugh, and just how generous and caring he was.'

She added, 'David was the most genuine and authentic man. We had a once in a lifetime love, and that will continue to live forever.'

Although Robinson had worked as Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Chapman's right-hand man for years, his most prominent television role was on Dog's Most Wanted, a show that ran for just a single season on WGN in 2019.

Brooke previously shared in a statement that, 'David was very healthy and was on a work call in our dining room at home when he collapsed. 

'Life-saving maneuvers were attempted and paramedics were called. David died in my arms,' she said.

Chapman spoke to TMZ to pay tribute to his former partner.

'I'm shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of David Robinson, my right-hand man of many years. Until we meet again, brother,' he said.

While speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Robinson's elder Mercedes Robinson Sutton, 37, claimed that his current wife Brooke had robbed her of a chance to say goodbye to her father after his sudden death.

She said that Brooke had refused her request to put the phone to his ear to let her speak to him one last time, and that she also refused to take a photo of his body before it was taken away.

'When I talked to her as she was lying next to his dead body, I cried and I asked her to Facetime me so I could see him,' she told DailyMail.com. 

'She said: "No, I'm not going to do that to you". I said OK and asked her for a picture. She said: "No, I'm not going to do that to you".'

'She told me she was holding his hand — I said, send me a picture of your hands. I never got it. An hour later, I called and said, is he still there with you?

Family strife: Mercedes also claimed that Brooke had banned her mother, David's former wife Rainy, 62, from his funeral because she shared the news of his death on Facebook before Brooke was ready to release it 

'She said: "yes, they haven't picked him up yet". I asked her to put the phone up to his ear so I could say some things.

'She said: "I can't do this, I can't do this", and hung up the phone. I never got to see my dad – I knew he was going to be cremated.

'They were going to send him to the morgue before he was cremated and I knew that was the last chance to see my dad. She robbed that from me.'

Mercedes also claimed that Brooke had banned her mother, David's former wife Rainy, 62, from his funeral because she shared the news of his death on Facebook before Brooke was ready to release it.
