The music is absolutely pounding the stadium's speakers as the fans wait for Ronaldo to arrive on the pitch.

Al-Nassr head coach Rudi Garcia is in a very jovial mood, joking with the world's media saying there's only 'two or three journalists' after a game. 

'Normally after the game there is three or four journalists. Please, everyone is welcome to come after every game to speak about Cristiano’s goal,' Garcia joked.

'It’s an honour for me but also for Al-Nassr to welcome Cristiano. He is an example, everyone knows that.

'My objective for Cristiano is make him happy and I want him to enjoy playing with Al-Nassr and winning with Al-Nassr.'

It's not easy to win any games today. The evolution of football is different and this isn't the end of my career by moving to the Middle East. For me, I'm really happy to be here and I know the league is competitive. I've watched many games.

I am so proud at making this big decision in my life and my career. My work in Europe is done. I played for all the most important clubs.

I had many opportunities in Europe. Many clubs in Brazil, Australia, in the US and even Portugal. For me this is a good chance with my knowledge and experience to grow very important clubs.

Ronaldo says is 'feeling very good and very proud to make this big decision' and insists his work is done and has played in the 'most important club in Europe and is ready for a new challenge'.

He wants to 'show and develop the new and young generation in Saudi Arabia as well as the woman's game' when asked what his achievements now are. Ronaldo reveals his family are happy about his decision to move and have supported him. 'The welcome is amazing and I'm really proud.'

'I want to change the mentality of the new genaration and had many opportunities in Europe, Brazil, US and Portugal tried to sign me but I have my word to this club. I know what I want and I know what I don't want. I want to help many different points and the Al-Nassr's woman's team. I want to change the perspective of many people.

Well, he's still in his suit as he's presented to journalists and the world's media for the first time as an Al-Nassr player.

Thousands of fans are expected to pack the 25,000-capacity Mrsool Park after the club received more than 130,000 requests for tickets for the unveiling, priced at 15 riyals (£3) with revenues going to charity. 

Not long now until Ronaldo will be unveiled as an Al-Nassr player. Already feels pretty surreal that we'll see the 37-year-old donning the shirt in what is an absolute dream signing for the Saudi club.

That all depends on where you live in the world. If you live in the Middle East and north Africa, then you will be able to watch all of Al-Nassr's games live.

However, if you live in the UK or the US, for example, then you'll have to stick to highlights of the games I'm afraid as there's no broadcasting deals in place for either country.

Al-Nassr only seemed to have around 860,000 followers before he joined but they've since become one of the world's most followed football clubs with 7.8million (and counting!) followers as a result of his move.

With their El Clasico battles long in the past, it'll be strange to see these two greats go head-to-head in a somewhat unusual environment.

Billboards all around Riyadh feature the forward greeting him to Al-Nassr while there have been people selling flags with his name and number on them to traffic from a central reservation.
