And we are done!

That concludes the end of Ronaldo's Al-Nassr presentation.

Thanks for joining us on our live blog and be sure to check back in with us soon for all the latest and breaking updates surrounding Ronaldo's latest career move to the Middle East.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your evenings!

17:29
Ronaldo's family are now presented to the Saudi crowd

Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, as well as their children join the forward up on the stage where photos are taken before he thanks the crowd for the rowdy welcome.

'Me and my family want to say thank you for your support and we promise to give our best,' Ronaldo says before leaving the stage.

17:27
Ronaldo is signing footballs and booting them into the crowd

I was expecting kick-ups but instead, Ronaldo is picking balls off podiums around the pitch, signing them and then hoofing them into the crowd for lucky punters. He even picks out a child in the crowd and make sure a little boy gets a gift he'll remember for a lifetime.

Expect the other balls to turn up on eBay tomorrow...

17:21
Ronaldo's struggling to get a word in here

As soon as he speaks, Ronaldo's met by raucous cheers, leaving him with a huge grin on his face.

He repeats what's he's said in the press conference and that he's ready to play in a very competitive league.

Chants of 'Ronaldo, Ronaldo' continue to ring out around the stadium

17:16
The moment we've all been waiting for!

Ronaldo, in his new Al-Nassr kit, walks out of the tunnel and waves to his new adoring fans.

That's the loudest amount of SIUUUU's I've heard in a long while.

17:04
Ronaldo meets his team-mates inside the changing room

Ronaldo shakes hands with his new Al-Nassr team-mates before the club's president speaks to the teams. Rudi Garcia is also having a laugh with everyone asking for the president's speech to be spoken in English.

'I just want to say I feel very happy to be here. It’s a big challenge for me to change from Europe to Asia but I know the group and it’s fantastic,' Ronaldo adds.

'I’m here to help the team to win stuff, to enjoy and give my best.'

17:02
Loud cheers ring out around the stadium

We're just minutes away from seeing him in the yellow kit.

Chants of 'Ronaldo, Ronaldo' are being sung along with 'Viva Ronaldo'.

Stay tuned...

Proper party atmosphere in Mrsool Park

The music is absolutely pounding the stadium's speakers as the fans wait for Ronaldo to arrive on the pitch.

It's like a nightclub for all those in the Mrsool Park and it won't be long before they're treated to the headline act.

16:39
Rudi Garcia: 'I'm VERY happy'

Al-Nassr head coach Rudi Garcia is in a very jovial mood, joking with the world's media saying there's only 'two or three journalists' after a game.

'Normally after the game there is three or four journalists. Please, everyone is welcome to come after every game to speak about Cristiano’s goal,' Garcia joked.

'It’s an honour for me but also for Al-Nassr to welcome Cristiano. He is an example, everyone knows that.

'My objective for Cristiano is make him happy and I want him to enjoy playing with Al-Nassr and winning with Al-Nassr.'

16:31
Ronaldo: 'My work in Europe is done - this ISN'T the end of my career'

It's not easy to win any games today. The evolution of football is different and this isn't the end of my career by moving to the Middle East. For me, I'm really happy to be here and I know the league is competitive. I've watched many games.

I am so proud at making this big decision in my life and my career. My work in Europe is done. I played for all the most important clubs.

I had many opportunities in Europe. Many clubs in Brazil, Australia, in the US and even Portugal. For me this is a good chance with my knowledge and experience to grow very important clubs.

16:29
Ronaldo on his Al-Nassr move

Ronaldo says is 'feeling very good and very proud to make this big decision' and insists his work is done and has played in the 'most important club in Europe and is ready for a new challenge'.

He wants to 'show and develop the new and young generation in Saudi Arabia as well as the woman's game' when asked what his achievements now are. Ronaldo reveals his family are happy about his decision to move and have supported him. 'The welcome is amazing and I'm really proud.'

'I want to change the mentality of the new genaration and had many opportunities in Europe, Brazil, US and Portugal tried to sign me but I have my word to this club. I know what I want and I know what I don't want. I want to help many different points and the Al-Nassr's woman's team. I want to change the perspective of many people.

16:25
Ronaldo is presented to the world's media

Well, he's still in his suit as he's presented to journalists and the world's media for the first time as an Al-Nassr player.

The fans will have to wait a little longer before getting to see him in the flesh.

16:16
We should be expecting Ronaldo any time soon...

Having arrived in that very nice-looking suit, the next we should see of Ronaldo is fully kitted out in the club's colours.

House music continues to thump around the stadium with fans eagerly waiting in anticipation. Not long now...

16:11
Ronaldo has arrived!

Suited and booted, Ronaldo pulls up in style and is walked through the stadium's halls by the club's president, as expected. There's quite the light show also going on on the pitch as fans patiently await his presence.

16:05
Al-Nassr's president is in the building

Musalli Al-Muammar has arrived at the Mrsool Park Stadium to unveil Ronaldo to his club's fans. What a massive day for him and the Saudi side.

16:00
The moment of Ronaldo's unveiling has finally arrived!

The 37-year-old will be unveiled as an Al-Nassr player in front of a packed-out Mrsool Park.

Expect kick-ups, tricks and a few words from the man himself (and maybe a 'SIUUUU' if we're lucky...)

15:51
Al-Nassr charge fans £3 to see Ronaldo's unveiling at Mrsool Park

Thousands of fans are expected to pack the 25,000-capacity Mrsool Park after the club received more than 130,000 requests for tickets for the unveiling, priced at 15 riyals (£3) with revenues going to charity.

15:42
We're under 20 minutes away from the presentation starting...

Not long now until Ronaldo will be unveiled as an Al-Nassr player. Already feels pretty surreal that we'll see the 37-year-old donning the shirt in what is an absolute dream signing for the Saudi club.

15:40

That all depends on where you live in the world. If you live in the Middle East and north Africa, then you will be able to watch all of Al-Nassr's games live.

However, if you live in the UK or the US, for example, then you'll have to stick to highlights of the games I'm afraid as there's no broadcasting deals in place for either country.

15:30
The Saudi Pro League's top scorers Ronaldo will be looking to catch

Former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has seven goals this term while Brazilian Talisca (also at Al-Nassr) leads the scoring charts. Can Ronaldo catch them?

15:21

Al-Nassr only seemed to have around 860,000 followers before he joined but they've since become one of the world's most followed football clubs with 7.8million (and counting!) followers as a result of his move.

14:57

With their El Clasico battles long in the past, it'll be strange to see these two greats go head-to-head in a somewhat unusual environment.

14:44
Ronaldo fever is very much sweeping the Saudi Arabian capital

Billboards all around Riyadh feature the forward greeting him to Al-Nassr while there have been people selling flags with his name and number on them to traffic from a central reservation.

14:35
So how good are Al Nassr?

Well they are certainly rich judging by the £175m-a-year deal they are paying Cristiano Ronaldo, but it turns out they are a relatively handy side too.

They currently stand as league leaders in the Saudi Arabian top flight having won eight of their first 11 games this term - losing just once.

14:29

Al Nassr fans have already been gripped by Ronaldo fever recently ahead of his unveiling,

14:06

It was always likely the World Cup would offer a good yardstick to where his career was at, especially having fallen out of favour at Manchester United.

Bernardo Silva has revealed that him being dropped during the tournament in Qatar came as little surprise to his Portugal team-mates.

13:45

I'm sure Ronaldo won't lose too much sleep over this, but it does offer a reflection from the football population over his declining status in the game.

Granted, decline happens to everyone - and you can't help but feel we have already entered the epilogue of Ronaldo's career.

13:29

Rio Ferdinand has defended Cristiano Ronaldo following his move to Saudi Arabia club Al-Nassr, comparing the switch to the swansongs enjoyed by former Manchester United stars Wayne Rooney and David Beckham in the United States.

13:14

IAN LADYMAN: A year ago this column began 2022 by suggesting Cristiano Ronaldo show some leadership qualities at Manchester United. Now he is preparing for life in Saudi Arabia. So that one went well.

12:52

Al-Nassr boss Rudi Garcia was asked about Ronaldo's arrival in Saudi Arabia on an eye-watering deal worth £175million-a-year.

He replied: 'First I tried to take Messi' before dissolving into laughter.

12:37

The Portuguese star posted an image on his Instagram story to announce the news with the caption: 'Medical done!'

12:24

He's not even been unveiled by one club yet, and yet Ronaldo is already being linked with another. Not too sure I can imagine him wearing a Newcastle United strip...

12:12
Fair to say Al Nassr are very much looking forward to the unveiling

They have already put together a montage ahead of the unveiling...

12:03
It's a new chapter for Cristiano Ronaldo...

But is it the final one in his playing career? After cancelling his Manchester United contract, it's certainly a leftfield move for the 37-year-old as Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr prepare to officially unveil him later. Good afternoon all and welcome to our live coverage of Ronaldo's unveiling at Al-Nassr.
