A New York City woman disappeared on New Year's Eve after being last seen on a subway train bound for the city's borough of Queens.

Adamaruis 'Yuri' Garcia, 21, of Queens, was last seen on a Queens-bound N train - a train she doesn't normally take - after getting off from her job at Rue 57, a French restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, around 9pm on December 31.

Garcia, who usually takes the R train, had gotten off a northbound N train at Queensboro Plaza - which offers the N, W, and 7 trains - around 11.15pm after hanging out with friends after work. The R train is roughly a five-minute walk away from the station.

'She doesn't usually get off at Queensboro Plaza,' her cousin Tannia Illescas told CBS 2 New York. 'She usually doesn't do any transfers, she just usually takes the R [train].'

Her family said her phone battery was low when she off the train, but she had last talked to her boyfriend, where they agreed he would meet them at her family home.

However, Garcia never showed up the apartment.

Another cousin, Jessenia Robles, 20, of Pennsylvania, told NBC News that it was weird for Garcia to go this long without being 'active on social media.'

'She’s never gone for a long period of time without anyone knowing,' the relative told the outlet. 'I don’t think she would leave for a long period of time, four days not contacting anyone, especially her boyfriend.'

Robles, among several other family members, traveled from Pennsylvania to help their New York City family members distribute photos of Garcia near the subway station she went missing on Wednesday.

Police are attempting to determine if Garcia had left the station on New Year's Eve.

The night she went missing, she was wearing a skintight black, long-sleeved dress and Nike high-top sneakers.

She was on the N train with a friend when she got off and reportedly last spoke with her boyfriend, who make plans to meet her at her parent's apartment, where she never showed up

The 115-pound girl was officially reported missing on Monday and police currently do not have an update on her whereabouts.

Her mother, Amanda Robles, is desperate for answers, telling Telemundo 47: 'My daughter, I love her and miss her a lot. She needs to be here with us.

'Investigators say there are going to go there to find out what happened through cameras - to check if she got off the train or took another train or what happened.'

'It's very, very sad to start the year with this news,' her uncle Carlos Robles, of Pennsylvania, said.
