Two teenagers with a gun and stash of drugs led Nebraska police on a wild 100mph pursuit.
A 13-year-old girl was driving a Nissan Pathfinder with an 11-year-old boy in the passenger seat when highway patrol officers attempted to pull them over during a traffic stop on Monday night.
The teenagers were traveling 35 miles per hour on I-80 at Kearney before fleeing 'at a high rate of speed' from a trooper.
Police said the chase went on for about 16 minutes as the suspect's car reached 100mph until officers utilized stop sticks to slow the girl down.
'A short time later, the trooper was able to successfully perform a tactical vehicle intervention to bring the vehicle to a stop,' Nebraska State Patrol wrote in a statement.

The children, who are from Colorado, were taken into custody.
Meanwhile, officers found a firearm, drug paraphernalia and marijuana in the vehicle.
It's unclear what charges they face or if they were under the influence of drugs.
The pursuit occurred as Nebraska experiences a winter storm with the I-80 at Kearney closing down as of Wednesday morning.
In another wild police chase this week, a North Carolina man wielding a knife and blasting the Dukes of Hazzard theme song while driving a stolen tractor was taken into custody.

A North Carolina man wielding a knife and blasting the Dukes of Hazzard theme song while he tried to mow down pedestrians with a stolen tractor has been taken into custody after leading police on a wild chase for several miles
Town of Boone Police Department said they received a call about a John Deere tractor 'being driven erratically in a parking lot trying to hit pedestrians' at about 9am Tuesday morning and named Ronnie Hicks as the driver.
Footage of the incident shows Hicks ploughing down stop signs and swerving past incoming traffic while he is pursued by several cops to the intersection of Route 421.
At least eight cop cars with flashing lights can be seen meeting Hicks at the junction to stop the farming vehicle, which is said to have not exceeded 20 miles during the hours-long pursuit.
Department Chief Andy Le Beau said in a post to Facebook that he ordered officers to shoot the wheels of the tractor, but a determined Hicks, continued the chase for a few more miles despite losing a tire.
After a few miles of driving without a front tire, Hicks turned onto a private property where he ran out of road, police said.
'Hicks then jumped off the tractor and was wielding a knife,' they added.
'A Boone officer utilized a Taser, and the suspect was taken into custody without injury to the suspect or the officers. Fortunately, no injuries occurred throughout this incident.'
Hicks has been taken into custody by Town of Boone Police Department, but his charges are yet to be announced.
