The Los Angeles Lakers have not been having the easiest time as both injuries and losses begin piling up.

Wednesday night saw the Sacramento Kings go on an 8-3 run in the last minute of play to beat the Lakers by five and a 116-111 scoreline.

That's the third loss in the previous week for the Lakers - with all three being by a combined ten points.

Los Angeles has missed the services of All-Star big man Anthony Davis for over a month. In addition to him, guards Lonnie Walker IV and Austin Reaves are placed on the injured list with leg problems.

LeBron James knows that the team needs to get healthy as quick as possible, but until then, they need to be flawless.

'We are limited with bodies,' James said. 'So until some of our big guys or some of our key guys get back ... we got to continue to play how we've played the last couple games. Play mistake-free basketball.'

While Lakers coach Darvin Ham has previously said he's wanted to play James as much as possible, he now realizes he's been asking too much of the 38-year-old.

'I feel bad about that,' Ham said. 'He's playing at an amazing level, but we can't run him in the ground.

'That was one of my main goals coming into the season. Thirty-six and a half [minutes] the other night.

'We just have to manage him and have clarity in terms of scaling back his minutes some.'

James put up 32 points last night on 11-for-25 shooting alongside eight rebounds and nine assists.

Things don't get easier for Los Angeles any time soon, with the Lakers hosting the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.
