President Joe Biden kicked off his post-State of the Union tour of swing states Wednesday, greeting staff and supporters on the South Lawn before boarding Marine One for his trip to Wisconsin.

Biden is heading to Deforest, located just outside of Madison, to visit a Laborers' International Union of North America training center, after focusing much of his State of the Union address on kitchen table issues.

In the 2020 election, Biden put Wisconsin back in the Democrats' column, winning the state by around 20,600 votes.

Then on Thursday, Biden will travel to Tampa, Florida - a swing state that has been exceedingly out of reach for Democrats in recent years.

In Tampa, the president is expected to talk about his plan to preserve Social Security and Medicare, issues Tuesday night that created the most interactive State of the Union moment.

The president claimed that 'instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republican ... some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security to sunset.'

That comment drew boos and the shouting of 'liar' from Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

'Anybody who doubts it, come to my office, I'll give you a copy - I'll give you a copy of the proposal,' Biden said to continued booing.

He added, 'I enjoy conversion.'

'I'm not saying it's a majority of you - I don't even think it's a significant - but it's being proposed by an individual, I'm not naming them, but it's being proposed by some of you,' Biden continued.

As did the booing and yelling.

'The idea is that we're not going to be, we're not going to be moved into being threatened to default on the debt if we don't respond,' Biden said, to applause from his Democratic colleagues.

'So folks, as we all apparently agree, Social Security and Medicare is off the books,' he said.

He asked members of Congress to then 'stand up for seniors,' getting both Democrats and Republicans off their feet.

While Biden is hitting the road Wednesday and Thursday, first lady Jill Biden will travel to the swing state of Arizona Sunday, first to attend the Super Bowl - to see her beloved Philadelphia Eagles face off against the Kansas City Chiefs - and then to do an event in Mesa, Arizona, her office said.
