Princess Charlotte is an 'adventurous' child who 'loves to climb trees, a royal expert has claimed.
The second child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, seven, is reportedly an active child who loves playing outside.
Speaking on Entertainment Tonight, royal expert Katie Nicholl claimed the Princess is also a 'tomboy', the Mirror reports.
Charlotte certainly appears to be an active child with a love of sport, with her mother, Kate Middleton, previously revealing she and her siblings are big rugby fans.
The mother-of-three, 41, also revealed Charlotte and her siblings love playing on the trampoline - with Kate joining them from time to time.
Princess Charlotte, pictured at Sandringham at Christmas, has reportedly been given the nickname 'Warrior Princess'
Katie Nicholl told the US show: '[Charlotte] loves climbing trees and she's very much an adventurer.'
Royal fans have been able to catch glimpses of the young princess's lust for life and vibrant personality in recent appearances as she grows up.
During a trip to the Commonwealth Games last summer the princess watched the events eagerly, but began larking about with her father after a few hours.
She pulled funny faces as she sat in the stands and was pictured giving her parents an eager thumbs up to demonstrate she was enjoying herself.
The young princess has also demonstrated her maturity in more recent appearances, not least at the funeral of her beloved 'Gan Gan', Queen Elizabeth.
As she stood next to her older brother Prince George outside Westminster Abbey at the state funeral of the late monarch, she appeared to tell the second-in-line to the throne 'you need to bow' as the Queen's coffin drove past.
And it seems Prince George knew to listen to his younger sister's advice, as he quickly obliged.
Royal fans sometimes catch a glimpse of Princess Charlotte's cheeky side, such as her comical display at the Commonwealth Games last summer
During her mother's Together at Christmas carol concert last December, Charlotte could barely contain her giggles as the Dean of Westminster told the audience a tale about his cat.
As he revealed how his feline gets caught up in the Christmas decorations every year, Charlotte looked towards her family members before chuckling to herself - proving she may well be a cat person.
Her mother, the Princess of Wales has been overheard speaking about her daughter and giving her the name 'Lottie' - a typical shortening of the name 'Charlotte'.
During a recent visit to Northern Ireland, Kate, 41, chatted to a member of the public about the age of their son, to which she replied: 'Oh, he's the same age as Lottie.'
Prince William, in turn, often refers to his daughter by a different nickname, which is a sweet term of endearment.
He has previously been reported to refer to Charlotte as 'Mignonette', which means 'small and delicate' in French.
But if reports are to be believed, the bold young princess has long outgrown her father's nickname and is finding her own way in the world.
In more recent appearances, royal fans have been able to catch a glimpse at Charlotte's quirky personality while she has been out and about with her family.
