I've been at the Idaho murders scene, here are my theories on the motive

Months after four University of Idaho students were knifed to death, questions remain about why the alleged suspect committed the heinous murders. The answer may be as simple as a 'crime of passion.'

Information I learned about the suspect, 28-year-old criminology PhD student Bryan Kohberger, suggests that rejection may have been enough of a motive.

Kohberger’s team is already fighting against the family of one of his alleged victims over a sweeping gag order imposed on the case. Both sides are waiting to see if the judge will side with suspect or the victims, which will be the first major ruling in the case.

Late last year, Bryan Kohberger was charged with the stabbing deaths of Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves and Xana Kernodle, and Kernodle's boyfriend, Ethan Chapin.

On the night of the crime, the killer moved swiftly, butchering his victims, indicating that he had a solid understanding of the home's layout.

Seeing the home where the massacre occurred cleared up any confusion about how the alleged killer managed to murder the four unsuspecting students in under 20 minutes.

Kohberger has not yet entered a plea in the quadruple homicide. The next court date is June 26 for a probable cause hearing.
