Woman working on Netflix Squid Game spin-off is hurt in horror fall 

A woman working on a spin-off of the gruesome Netflix show Squid Game has been hurt in a fall.

People were said to be shrieking as they saw the woman fall and break her leg during filming in Bedfordshire.

In the fictional television show, contestants face death while competing in games for a cash prize in South Korea.

Squid Game: The Challenge is Netflix's version of the game in real life that sees around 450 people compete for £4million.

Netflix said the worst thing that could happen to a contestant would be to go home empty-handed.

Filming for the spin-off Squid Game show for Netflix has been taking place in Bedfordshire

However, the show has now been struck with its first serious accident, the Mirror reported.

An insider told the paper: 'It was horrible. People saw the woman fall, and then hit the ground.'

The woman was treated on set before she was taken to hospital.

Previously, people on the show were said to have got hypothermia after standing in below-freezing temperatures in an attempt to win one of the games.
