Two cyclists are dead and 11 are critically injured after a pickup truck rammed into them on an Arizona highway.
Police responded to the scene around 8am on Saturday where they received a report of several injured cyclists on Cotton Lane Bridge.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was cooperating with the police. Good Year Police Department declined to comment if the driver was arrested.
One female cyclist was declared dead at the scene and a male cyclist died at a local hospital. The other cyclists were transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Police have not released the identities of the deceased or additional victims.
It's unclear what led to the crash. Multiple closures were reported as a result.
