Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene dedicated her Friday CPAC appearance to attacking transgenderism, warning the crowd that there was a 'multi-billion dollar' industry out there that 'mutilates the genitals of children.'
The Georgia Republican announced she planned to reintroduce a bill next week that makes performing underage transgender surgeries a felony.
Greene was cheered on by the crowd as she argued that the Republican Party needs to be the 'party that protects children' as she warned that people are 'left with lifelong disabilities' by transitioning their genders.
'They are given puberty blockers, that actually chemically castrates them, makes them sterile. They're giving testosterone to girls as young as 11, 12, 13 years old,' Greene said. 'That within four to five years some of them have to have hysterectomies because of the damage it does inside of them.'
'There are teenage girls having their breasts cut off, that is permanent damage done to their bodies, they'll never be able to breastfeed their babies,' she continued. 'There are boys that are having their penises turned inside out.'

Greene gave graphic details about surgeries in a speech before lunchtime.
She said that 'we should protect children from making a horrible mistake.'
'This isn't a right-wing extremist idea everyone,' she argued.
Greene said her bill, the Protect Children's Innocence Act, should curtail these surgeries.
The bill not only makes it a felony for medical professionals to perform gender affirming care, but it bars federal funding from going toward gender affirming care.
Greene suggested that it would likely pass the House, with its narrow Republican majority.
'Let me tell you my great news this morning, ladies and gentleman, it couldn't pass last Congress because, like I said, Nancy Pelosi was the speaker of the House and she doesn't believe in gender at all,' Greene said.
'But we have a new speaker in our Republican majority in our House of Representatives and I am going to be introducing my bill, the Protect Children's Innocence Act, that will make a felony to perform anything to do with gender-affirming care,' she added to huge cheers.
More broadly, Greene suggested that turning children trans was a left-wing agenda itme.
'The left has told us something that should put fear in the heart of every parent. And not just parents, every single person. They said they're coming for our children,' she said at the top of her speech.
'I don't know about you, but when it comes to kids, I think the Republican Party has a duty. We have a responsibility and that is to be the party that protects children,' she said.
Greene started her political career by being branded an adherent of QAnon - which focuses on Democrats preying on children.
Believers in the conspiracy theory think that powerful Democrats are involved in a Satanic cannibalistic child sex-trafficking ring and that cabal conspired against former President Donald Trump while he was in office.
