Kellyanne Conway's internet famous daughter Claudia slammed online users and journalists for 'hatefully commenting' on her parents' marriage just days after their divorce was officially confirmed.
George and Kellyanne Conway, 59 and 56 respectively, married more than 20 years ago and have four children together.
They have reportedly each retained counsel as they work to end their marriage legally and divide their assets after years of speculation about the status of their relationship.
Following reports Friday that the pair were splitting up for good, the Conways released a statement confirming as much:
'We are in the final stages of an amicable divorce. We married more than two decades ago, cherish the many happy years (and four corgis) we've shared, and above all else, our four incredible children, who remain the heartbeat of our family and our top priority,' it read.

'Kindly respect our privacy,' they continued. 'We appreciate the many family members, friends and colleagues who know us, care for us, and support us. We remain united as parents to provide love, joy, comfort and protection to our beautiful children.'
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Claudia Conway took to Twitter to weigh in on the public discourse surrounding the end of her parents' tumultuous union.
'Why does the media love to tear women down,' she wrote. 'All these journalists hatefully commenting on another woman's marriage are either divorced, will be single forever, or haven't met their husband's secretary yet.'
In response to the teen's post, one user asked: 'Does the divorce make you relieved or sad? Looking back, I kinda wish my parents got divorced instead of staying together unhappily.'
Claudia responded: 'I think everyone banks on having that picture-perfect 'nuclear family' but families come in all different structures so to put it simply, I love both of my parents and am excited for the new chapters of their lives they they are stepping into. Relieved.'
In addition to the implosion of the Conway's union, Claudia has previously been at the center of several media storylines about the family.
Last year, the now-18-year-old came out as queer, after spending intermittent periods lambasting her mother's participation in the Trump administration.
She describes her political views as left-leaning, and in August of 2020, told her Twitter followers that she was 'officially pushing for emancipation' from her parents.

Kellyanne announced in August 2020 that she would leave the White House the day after the 15-year-old said she was working on emancipation.
Kellyanne said she was leaving for the sake of her family, to be 'less drama, more mama.'
Yet shortly after the announcement, Claudia Conway took to TikTok, stating that her parents were going to get divorced but have now called it off 'to keep her from getting emancipated.'
She accused her father George of not caring about her and not knowing her middle name and said her mother has been physically abusive her whole life.
George also stepped back from his role on the Lincoln Project and took a brief hiatus from Twitter to focus on family.
In a statement at the time, Kellyanne called her time in the Trump administration 'heady' and 'humbling,' and said she and George were making the decision based on what they think is best for their four children.
'We disagree about plenty,' she wrote of her and her husband, 'but we are united on what matters most: the kids.
In August of 2021, the teen revealed she was back on good terms with her mother, who had supported her during a short lived run on American Idol.
'I know a lot of people are confused about my situation, but I am happy and I'm safe, and my relationship with my mom is actually really good right now,' she said in a TikTok.
'She's getting the guidance she needs, I got the guidance I needed, we got the guidance we needed together. And it's all about breaking that cycle. So, we are living proof that you can break that cycle.'
Last December, Claudia told Bustle that she and her mother had been going to therapy together: 'I'm not going to talk about my mom's trauma because it's her story, not mine. But when you have trauma that you have held onto for, let's say, 40 years of your life, and you have children, it is so hard to not pass that down to them.'
Claudia has since said that she has 'all the respect in the world' for her mother, who is working through her past in therapy.
'Being so young, it's really hard to understand why someone is treating you the way they are, especially when they're your mother and you look up to them so much. I've learned so much about her,' said the younger Conway.

Kellyanne admitted in her 2022 memoir that her husband's criticism of her former boss was a betrayal to their marriage
'Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her wacko husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway,' he wrote. 'Free at last, she has finally gotten rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck.'
'She is a great person, and will now be free to lead the kind of life that she deserves...and it will be a great life without the extremely unattractive loser by her side!' he added.
Conway wrote in response: 'Looking forward to seeing you in New York at E. Jean's trial next month! Hugs and kisses,' referring to Trump's upcoming trial involving writer E. Jean Carroll, who is suing the former president for defamation after he denied raping her in a dressing room in New York in the 90s.
