The internet has been sent into a frenzy over never-before-seen high school photos of a very popular Hollywood A-lister.

TikTok creator Bella, 21, took to the video sharing platform to post a selection of mom Kiley's throwback snaps from her time at Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California.

She and the young man, who would go on to be a zombie-fighting coffee-loving household name, appeared to have been friends as he even left her a series of handwritten notes.

For anyone who is yet to work it out, the high school hottie is in fact The Last Of Us star Pedro Pascal.

In her first clip, which has been viewed more than 13.9 million times, Bella zooms in on a black-and-white yearbook photo of a young Pedro who graduated in 1993.

The future star beamed at the camera as he posed in a simple white t-shirt.

She uploaded the video alongside a caption which read: 'Every time I remember my mom was friends with Pedro in high school.' 

Bella then cuts to a lengthy message that the actor wrote in the yearbook. 

Although not all of it is legible, Pedro writes: 'Your friendship couldn't have come at a better time. 

'In a way I sort of believe that some mystical force sent you to me.'

He reveals how she can 'turn his frown into a smile' and said she would be the 'best man' at his wedding.

In a follow up clip, the TikToker posted a sought-after 'mom reveal' by sharing a picture of Kiley and her husband

And social media fans were quick to flood the comment section with their thoughts on the friendship

It concludes: 'Promise you won't forget me and you'll be my first date at the Academy Awards. All my love and best wishes for the future.' 

The Chilean native, whose full name is José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal, then added his signature before drawing an arrow to it and cheekily writing: 'Keep this!!'

And, as if that wasn't enough, Bella then showed a text that she got from her mom which had a photo of the graduation card that the actor had sent her back in the day.

She first shared a picture of Pedro and her mom with their arms round one another before cutting to a present-day image of Kiley and her now husband.

In recent months, Pedro has become a steadfast household name after being thrust into the been thrust into the spotlight due to his role in The Last of Us

Bella said: 'To the disgrace of some and the joy of many, she is now happily married with four children. 

'She doesn't have anymore Pedro content, but her friends might.' 

And social media fans were quick to flood the comment section with their thoughts on the friendship.

One follower commented: 'If anyone wrote me that I'd cry, much less Pedro Pascal himself.'

Another Pedro fan added: 'So he was just ALWAYS a sweetheart.'

And a third simply said: 'They need to reunite.'
