UConn coach Dan Hurley has worn the SAME UNDERWEAR throughout his team's March Madness run

While UConn have played against four different teams in two different cities this March Madness, one thing has remained the same: coach Dan Hurley's underwear.

According to his wife Andrea, the 50-year-old has worn the same pair since the Huskies beat 13-seed Iona in their first game of the tournament.

And when UConn plays Miami on Saturday, Hurley will be wearing the same navy suit, light shirt and Prada shoes he's donned the whole tournament.

'He always pulls up the game that he had against the opponents to see what he was wearing,' Andrea Hurley told the New York Post. 

'If they won that game, he'll wear the same outfit.'

According to Andrea, Hurley washes the lucky underwear - which are red with dragons on them - after every use.

And the coach's superstitious nature apparently runs in the family.

Andrea's father-in-law, high school coaching legend and Hall of Famer Bobby Hurley, demanded that she wear the same jacket from the Sweet 16 to the Elite 8, she told The Post. 

'After we won [against Gonzaga], my father-in-law said, 'I don't care if the jacket walks to Houston, it better be in the building,'' she said.

Hurley will wear his same outfit at least one more time as his team takes on Miami at 8:49ET in Houston, Texas on Saturday.

This is the first Final Four for the former Rhode Island coach, but the sixth in the school's storied history.
