Masters 2023 Round Two LIVE: Tee times and updates as Viktor Hovland leads the way

That's all from us for today as we wrap up our Masters coverage following the suspension in play. 

Tiger Watch was cut short by two blares of the horn this afternoon but the golfing icon is at least guaranteed some form of an appearance at the weekend with the five-time winner set to finish his second round Saturday morning. 

We'll be back tomorrow to see if anyone can catch Brooks Kopeka.

Augusta National has confirmed that play will not resume today and is suspended until 8am ET/1pm BST Saturday morning. 

The prestigious Georgia course also confirmed that the wind had brought the trees down but had caused no injuries. 

The BBC is reporting that there will be no more play today. 

Well, I guess we WILL see Tiger at the weekend...

The Augusta staff are already hard at work to clear up the destruction left in the wake of tree-gate. 

it has been an extremely lucky escape as it appears incredible that no one was harmed as the workmen pick fold out chairs out from underneath the trees.  

Sportsmail's Riath Al-Samarrai has confirmed that, thankfully, no one was hurt when the two trees came crashing down. 

Play is still suspended due to inclement weather conditions. 

Daily Mail's Mike Keegan is at Augusta and is trying to obtain more information from the tumbling trees but reports that reporters are not allowed to leave the media center due to the weather delay. 

Two of the towering pines that line Augusta National came crashing down near what looks to be the area between the 17th tee box and the 15th green. 

Sergio Garcia had just played a shot out of the greenside bunker on 15 when the two trees could be seen crashing down in the background behind him, moments before the klaxon was sounded for a second time. 

Sandy Lyle, in his last ever Masters appearance before retiring, headed up the 18th just before the klaxon went off. 

The Scot is far from contention at the bottom of the leaderboard at 19-over but his final putt at Augusta is a commemorative one, a moment to be treasured. 

Except he doesn't get to take it, not yet anyway! The klaxon sounds just before he can putt leaving him stood on the green with a wry smile of his faced. 

Clearly bemused with the situation, he chats with officials but rules are rules and he has to come in. 

He still takes his sweet time about it, tipping his cap to the applauding patrons, who also should be making their way off the course. Is no one bothered about the threat of being struck by lightning? 

A large Georgia pine has just come down near some spectators by the side of the 15th green.

It's unclear if anyone is hurt but it didn't appear to fall on anyone. 

Well, it was good while it lasted.

The clouds had come in again and the wind whipped up, leaving the players still out with a brutal back nine ahead but the Augusta gods looked down on them favorably. 

The klaxon has gone off and players and patrons are being told to evacuate. It seems some patrons in the galleries are reluctant to leave with the previous delay being short-lived - most likely to avoid the risk of losing their prime position seats. 

But the announcement is being played over the loud speakers and Woods waves to them as he strides off the course. 

No live reaction from Rahm but if it's anything like last time's, the Spaniard will NOT be impressed.  

Cam Smith, take a bow!

The reigning Open champion has just hit a worldie of a shot from the fairway bunker of eight. 

He has about 250 yards to the front edge but he is not messing about here. He whips out the three-wood, takes a huge swipe and the ball flies up to the left of the green, takes a bounce in the rough and another and turns right, catching a slope and comes to rest 15 feet from the hole.

He has that for eagle, can he make it? Of course, he can! 

The Spaniard leapfrogs amateur Sam Bennett into solo second at nine-under after a spectacular recovery on nine. 

He smashes his drive into the trees, but the trees spit it back out and he takes advantage, firing a laser in to the green then curling in the putt 10 feet or so up the hill and in for a second successive birdie.

His front nine had been a bit pedestrian but this is more like it! He's three shots back of Koepka with the back nine to come.

Viktor Hovland just isn't quite dialed in today. He leaves a long birdie chance well short at ten and leaves himself with a bug par test. Nailed it and he walks off with another par. Apart from the one bogey, that's all the Norwegian has seen today. 

It's pars all round in this grouping as Woods also two putts from a similar area to Hovland and Xanbder Schauffele carries on plodding along. 

There it is! Finally, the first birdie of the day for Rahm. 

After sticking a lovely wedge in pretty close on eight, he has a great look at birdie and he's not wasting this chance. 

SUNK! And he joined Sam Bennett in second at eight-under!

Amid all the klaxon drama, we've lacked a little Rory update... and if you hadn't worked it out already, it's not good news. 

The Northern Irishman has finished five-over and has MISSED the cut. Oh, Rory. 

Told you the suspension could do Tiger some good!!

What feels like a lifetime ago, Woods played a delicate chip to two feet on the par-five eighth to set up a kick-in birdie. 

The klaxon just delayed the inevitable and now we're back underway, he's plopped it in and has clawed one back. 

We're back on the right side of the cut line!

Rahm, not too happy with the suspension in the first play, is back and raring to go. 

He opens his second-half account with a par - that seven straight, SEVEN. You're going to need the birdies to catch Koepka Ramhbo!!

The Belgian looks VERY chilled as he and his caddie use the suspension to rest their legs. 

Sorry boys, up and at it now, I'm afraid!

The klaxon sounds again to a loud cheer and we're back in action after a 21-minute delay, much to the joy of Jon Rahm.

Well, that didn't last long. 

Looks like we could have play back underway shortly. 

The players are heading back to their markers and look set to pick their clubs back up.

And there it is! The klaxon has gone off. 

It caught a disgruntled Jon Rahm at a seemingly very inopportune moment and the Spaniard rolls his eyes and throws up an arm in frustration from his spot in the bunker.  

Well, we had a good run and lasted longer than expected in fairness. The thunderstorms, initially forecasted for around 1pm ET, are finally threatening Augusta and the players have been called. 

Maybe Woods will use the suspension of play to regroup... Viktor Hovland too for that matter. 

An uncharacteristic error from Woods proves costly. 

A slightly leaked tee shot on the seventh comes up behind a tree. He actually plays a nice second to give himself a short wedge down the length of the green with his third.

But he scuds the wedge low and one bounce right into the crowd of adoring patrons. It costs him a bogey and he drops to three-over, the wrong side of the cut line. 

McIlroy has looked pretty good off the tee today and he rockets another drive down the 17th.

His second is looking pretty good too, setting him up with a birdie chance from the back of the dancefloor. 

It's just a par though. They really haven't been dropping for Rory today and it look like a weekend of putting his feet up for the Northern Irishman. 

Bennett, perhaps starting to feel the pressure slightly, is far from pleased with his second on the last. But he gets a little luck with a members bounce left on to the green. 

An easy two-putt and a par to finish yet another impressive round of four-under 68 and the amateur heads into the clubhouse as the solo second place. 

If the projected cut line stays where it is, he's guaranteed low amateur as the only one to make it through. 

Tiger Woods gets the galleries around the sixth green pumped with a beauty of a tee shot. 

It's right over the top of the flag and has a golden chance for birdie. It doesn't drop but it's a lot better rom the five-time winner. 

Overnight leader Viktor Hovland miscalculates and goes through the back and it's a dropped shot for the Norwegian. He's had a couple of looks at birdie thru the first few holes but hasn't really ignited and he'll be ruing those missed chances now.

Something finally goes right for Rory. 

He gets on the par-five 13th in two and two-putts to come away with a much-needed birdie - his first of the day.

But he can't back it up with another on 14. A birdie putt on the 14th comes up a little short, leaving a resigned-looking Rory to trudge off the green at four-over. 

Bennett has the honor as he, Scheffler and Homa step on to the 16th tee. 

 A crisp swish of a short iron results in Bennett having a 12-foot birdie putt. He can't quite knock it but plops in the par putt to remain outright second at eight under. Really remarkable. 

He's showing Scheffler how it's done too. The defending champ finds the back right corner and also settles for par.  

Viktor Hovland putts for his first birdie of the day. Bends his knees, raises the putter... but it doesn't drop.

He expected that to turn a lot more from left to right than it did. Still, a even-par round for the Norwegian to start. 

Woods also has a look at a birdie but also settles for a par.

The forecasted rain has finally arrived as the first few raindrops fall on Augusta National. 

It's not too heavy though and there's no sign yet of a thunderstorm, hopefully we won't be hearing the klaxon. 

Brooks Kopeka is probably very chuffed that he's in and dry while Hovland and Rahm are toiling in the damp. 

The amateur - that's right amateur - is making light work of Augusta National. 

Another pair of back-to-back birdies sees the 23-year-old move into outright SECOND, four shots back of Koepka, on his first crack at the Masters. 

Unbelievable.

It's a good bogey in fairness, if there is such a thing. He plays from the drop zone and knocks on to 11 feet before knocking it in for a salvage job. 

He'll somehow be happy with just a bogey but he really needed to be making birdies. He's five-over thru 11. 

The worst scores on the Augusta National course today are from Sandy Lyle at six over and then Jose Maria Olazabal, Vijay Singh, Jason Kokrak and Rory McIlroy (all five-over).

The Norther Irishman will be making an early exit from Augusta National...

The last of our overnight leaders is out on the course!

Rahm, needing a five-under 67 to tie the lead again after Koepka's impressive second round, started with a four-putt yesterday but bounced back in sensational style. The Spaniard went nine under in the next 17 holes. A remarkable round.

He's alongside a very bright Justin Thomas, who is sporting a pair of loud pink pants. It's giving me Viktor Hovland a la last year. 

There isn't a bad word to say about this man's game today. 

It's still just the one bogey thru two rounds for Koepka as his five-under 67 sees him lead the Masters Tournament with a 36-hole total of 12-under 132. That is tied for the third-lowest score through two rounds in tournament history.

14 pars, three birdies and one eagle and the LIV rebel can put his feet up after that round.

Collin Morikawa faced a Twitter storm of cheating allegations following his opening round of The Masters Thursday. 

The 26-year-old came under fire from the armchair rules officials after video emerged of him appearing to move his ball closer to the hole. 

On the par-three sixth, the two-time major winner was lining up a putt and seemed to move his ball marker up behind the ball. 

However, the Twitter conspiracists missed some crucial context before flinging about their allegations.

Slight lost in all the Tiger-mania, is one of the overnight co-leaders. 

Norway's Viktor Hovland played beautifully yesterday to card a blemish-free 65. The talented 25-year-old was consistent and scrambled well on the rare occasion he needed to.

He was joined by Jon Rahm and Koepka atop the leaderboard and will have some work to do to catch the American who has pulled ahead today.  

The five-time winner has some work to do today after an opening two-over leaves him at risk of missing the cut at his 25th Masters.

He looks like his means business as he steps up on tp the first tee. He's not atop the leaderboard, nor is he a tournament favorite but the patrons still vie for a glimpse of the great.

He takes out the big dog and fires one down the first. It's on the left side of the fairway but should be just fine. 

But the dark clouds are starting to roll in, please don't let that be a bad omen for Woods...

This is not the form we expect to see from the defending champion. 

The putter simply isn't heating up for Scheffler but he could change that with a long birdie chance... nope. 

He gives it a good go but it races by. No matter a simple enough one back for par.. oh, no! He misses that too. 

The World No. 1 misses the bogey putt and the next! Unbelievable. 

It's a FOUR-PUTT for Scheffler and he slides right don the leaderboard at two-under. 

The forecast is still showing the rain and thunderstorms to roll in at around 1pm ET/7pm BST just after Tiger Woods and Day One co-leader Viktor Hovland tee off. 

The storms are expected to last for a few hours so we'll have to see how much play we can get out of today. 

Sensational stuff from the amateur. 

His approach on the ninth lands within almost gimme distance. But he doesn't need to be given it as he sinks the birdie chance and walks off the ninth at six-under with just five professionals ahead of him. 

Justin Rose is currently the bet of the English hopes. 

He's just made a terrific sand save to star at four-under. 

It's not the toughest bunker shot at Augusta from the right of the 10th green but he executes it well. 

He stabs it out and lets gravity do its job with the ball running down to about four feet, which he knocks in for par.

Oh Brooks, STOP IT. This is exemplary stuff. 

Just as Jason Day had thought he'd cut Koepka's lead to three with a birdie, the American sinks another one of his own.

Faced with a 237-yard run into the green on 15 he whips out the five iron and zings his shot over the pond into 16 feet. Eagle chance. 

He can't sink the eagle but it's a tap-in birdie and that'll do. 

He at 12-under with just one bogey thru 33 holes!

Oh Rory, Rory, Rory...

Another year, another Augusta disappointment. 

He lands his tee shot on six in the middle of the green but then it trickles off to leave a 59 feet putt for birdie.

He races that effort some 20 feet past and can't make the return putt for par. Another dropped shot and he's left battling to make the cut at three-over.

Will he EVER clinch a Green Jacket? 

The LIV rebel is cruising around Augusta. 

He smashes his second through the green but elects to putt from the longer cut of grass. There's a slight element of risk attached but he gets his pace just right to set up and easy birdie chance. Of course, it drops in.

He's making it look easy today. Your move Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland. 

Oh Max...

Homa hasn't given his second on five quite enough and he can't do anything but stand there and watch as it agonizingly trickles back down almost all the way back to his feet. 

But he soldiers on and almost holes out with his second attempt. It's still a dropped shot though and he's back to two-under, even for the day.

Sandy Lyle has got his final Masters round underway - well likely final round as he'll need a miracle today to make it to the weekend. 

The 1988 champion shot a nine-over 81 on his opening round and has opened his second with a double bogey six. 

The 65-year-old Scot branded his opening 81 'substandard' and he is retiring after this championship.

Back-to-back bogeys for McIlroy and it's pretty painful viewing so far. 

Despite an enormous drive which almost made the third green, his chipped second has way too much juice on one of the narrowest sections of the green and unsurprisingly skirts over to the right edge before rolling off down the hill.

With work to do, a clip on to six feet doesn't save him as it catches the left side of the hole and stays up. 

In desperate need of a Rory recovery. 

Jason Day had a fast start to the day with two birdies in the first three holes but a series of pars has seen him cool down a little and remain three shots back of Koepka. 

But it could be worse... the Australian will be thankful it's just a par on the fifth after finding the sand down the left side of the fairway. 

He's forced to lay up but is rewarded for attacking the pin as he zips his 149-yard iron shot in to around seven feet and then rolls in for par. 

Brooks Koepka, take a bow!

The LIV Golf rebel has extended his lead to three shots with an eagle after a wonderful second onto the green allows him to take full advantage as he drains his eagle putt.

He's locked in and means business.

The Northern Irishman will be looking for a charge today after a rather underwhelming opening round. 

And it starts off in the right direction! He belts his opening tee shot down the first and he has a decent chance to go close to the pin with a gentle wedge into the green here.

He lands his approach on the slope but it doesn't have quite enough to make it on to the upper plateau and trickles away to leave a putt of some 30 feet. 

Fast start for Bennett! He drains a 25-foot birdie chance. He went birdie-eagle on his Masters debut yesterday, can he do the same today? 

The same definitely cannot be said for Scheffler, who bogeys the first and drops a shot to fall five shots back of leader Koepka. 

His tee shot had drifted into the first cut and tugs his second a little, looks like a sandy ending and he can only make bogey from there. 

Defending champ Scottie Scheffler has got the second round of his title defense under way. The American shot a nice, steady 68 Thursday, keeping him in the hunting pack but it was full of frustration as several birdie chances slipped by. If he can get the flatstick working today, he could easily be on course to catch Koepka. 

He's joined by amateur Sam Bennett. The 2022 US Amateur champion, shot a quite simply brilliant bogey-free 68 on Thursday. 

They're alongside Max Homa and all three have split the fairway. 

Jason Day has been waiting for a BIG major performance after an inconsistent few years since he was the 2015 world number one and couldn't ask for a better start on day two at Augusta.

His Masters tournament is well underway as he moves up to fourth on the leaderboard on -6. The Australian is currently -1 for his round through two holes.

Dustin Johnson is one of the big LIV names to be appearing at Augusta and misses a great chance to move onto -2 as his putt from roughly eight feet is skewed off-line and long. Don't write him off yet though.

We can expect to see some big names take to the first tee in the next 30 minutes so here is who you can expect to see taking to Augusta shortly.

10:00 a.m. (3:00 pm) – Scottie Scheffler, Max Homa, Sam Bennett (A)

10:12 a.m. (3:12 pm) – Tom Kim, Rory McIlroy, Sam Burns

10:24 a.m. (3:24 pm) – Jordan Spieth, Tommy Fleetwood, Tony Finau

10:36 a.m. (3:36 pm) – Mike Weir

The American had a difficult putt to extend his lead by two shots and move to nine-under-par on the fourth hole but saw his effort stop agonisingly short. You have to be a top player to make a par look easy at Augusta and that is exactly what Koepka is. He takes the par and moves on.

World number one and last year's Masters winner Scottie Scheffler went largely under the radar on Thursday as he finished his round -4 and within three shots of the lead. Today it would be no surprise to see him build on that.

His putting yesterday was his biggest enemy with a close-range miss on the 11th frustrating the American.

However, his approach play with the irons continued to put him in good positions for the rest of his round and if he can perfect some of his play on the greens then he should be able to rocket up the leaderboard.

He tees off in 20 minutes time.

Koepka remains the solo leader after his second-hole birdie moved him onto -8 through three. But apart from that there has been relatively little movement from the early tee offs.

Gary Woodland is paired with Koepka and has moved onto -5 for his round so far while veteran Phil Mickelson is -1 for his round and -2 overall following a brilliant Thursday showing from him.

The rest of the top field are still yet to tee off.

2017 Masters winner Sergio Garcia is fuming at questions over the LIV v PGA battle and has told reporters that they need to 'STOP' asking questions about it.

The Spaniard bit back at questions and encouraged interviewers to talk about the Masters rather than outside issues.

We have just been given a weather update and things really aren't looking good. Discussions are currently underway over plans for a Monday finish which would the first time in 40 years that we have had that happen.

Reporters at Augusta have said that this is the worst weather prediction they have seen in the last 20 years with rain and thunderstorms expected around 1pm local time 6pm BST. That would mean it could be a washout for those on course and the likes of John Rahm may not even get started.

The two closes chasers to Koepka are some of the latest to tee off today. That means that the American could be far off in the distance but if both can replicate Thursday's showing then it will make for a third great day of action tomorrow.

12:54 p.m. (5:54 pm) – Tiger Woods, Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele

1:18 p.m. (6:18 pm) – Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, Cameron Young

The American looked at risk of dropping his first shot of the round on the third hole after his chip onto the green landed about eight foot from the hole. He stayed cool to hold out for par and remains -8 in the lead.

Brooks Koepka is through two holes and has already distanced himself from Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland. The American is -1 for his round so far and now leads the Masters all on his own.

Television coverage is now underway as the featured groups prepare to get their second rounds underway. We've fully caught up on the biggest talking points from yesterday and now it is all about today's action.

Phil Mickelson has been one of the major winners that has always split opinion despite being one of the sport's very best players. Those that didn't like him turned on him even more as he ditched the PGA tour to become big-money LIV's leading rebel.

On Thursday as he took to the famous tees of Augusta for the first time since ditching the PGA, the three-time Masters champion produced a round that captured the attention of all who followed him.

All of the action currently underway at Augusta isn't being televised in the UK but we will be live on Augusta's neatly-cropped greens in just over 10 minutes time for coverage of their featured groups so grab your bank holiday drinks and snacks and get rid to enjoy an afternoon and evening full of the very best golfing action that professional golf has to offer.

Rory Mcllroy has always been named as a potential green jacket winner but has also always fallen short when it matters most at Augusta.

There is something about this famously challenging course that the Northern Irishman just can't get to grips with and it was the same again on his opening round.

McIlroy scored five birdies, three bogeys and a horrific double-bogey on the par-four seventh hole as he clawed his way to an equal round to remain above the predicted +1 cut and give himself the slimmest of chances to catch the -7 leaders.

Afterwards he lamented: 'It felt like a bit of a scramble all day to be honest. I missed a couple of tee shots left and sorta paid the price for that on 7 and 17,' McIlroy explained.

'It was just a little untidy in some other areas as well. I made enough birdies and I usually always do that, it was just keeping the mistakes off the card and today I didn't quite do that.

Colin Morikawa had to take to Twitter last night to deny that he had cheated by moving his ball on the green of the par-three sixth. He did move his ball as a video shows but the two-time major winner insists this was allowed by the rules at the Masters.

Suspicions were raised after the video showed him putting his ball down over an inch in front of his marker before he then moved it up to the ball. He later responded by saying that his marker was in the wrong place to start with.

A few of today's rounds have got underway after tee times were brought forward by staff over rain concerns and it is so far BAD NEWS for Francesco Molinari. The 2018 British Open winner is currently +2 after two holes.

DeChambeau is equal after the same amount of holes and remains on +2 currently. Early starters Jose Maria Olazabal and Cameron Champ are both +1 through four with nobody yet to be under par for their round so far.

Predictions can change but after assessing the leaderboard following day one, I expect today's first-round cut to be at +1. That would mean that the likes of Woods, former winner Sergio Garcia, Danny Willett, Bryson DeChambeau, and Bubba Watson would all be eliminated.

The current field of 88 will be reduced to 50 once all players finish their round today. Some big names need to improve today or they are OUT.

No matter where he places on the leaderboard, nobody quite garners attention wheteher it be on-screen or out on course at Augusta like Tiger Woods. He is always the most-followed player round the iconic course and will be so again today as he partners leader Viktor Hovland,  and green jacket hopefuly Xander Schauffele.

But Tiger seriously needs to be at his best today if he wants to continue into day three with the cut ready to be made once all players have finished their rounds today.

He is currently nine shots off the lead and on Thursday age and injury seemed to be a telling part of his round as his younger competitors thrived and the all-time great faltered at the Masters.

He is 47 and has a huge battle on to avoid a first culling at Augusta since 1996. There were flashes of his previous excellence with birdies on the 15th and 16th but if the 15-time major champion is serious about even putting up a fight here then he needs that consistency on more than just two holes.

You should never doubt a great but Tiger's roar was more of a meow than anything on Thursday and today he will be hungry to prove he can still mix it with the best.

Adam Scott became the first-ever Australian to win the Masters in 2013 and made a great start at this year's tournament as he shot a 67 round and is currently tied at T4 on four under par.

The most interesting part from his first round is that Scott changed some of his irons, his driver and his golf ball mid-round after an uninspiring. 

He went on to clinch an eagle on the 15th and three birdies to record his best scoring first round ever at Augusta. The pure definition of trusting your instincts.

Day one results should always be taken with a pinch of salt, we've seen plenty of strong opening rounds in years gone by that have eventually ended with a player dropping well down the leaderboard by the end of play on day four, Mcllroy and Rickie Fowler in recent years pop to mind, but that hasn't stopped the bookies from making Jon Rahm their favourite.

After a double bogey on the opening hole you would have been hard picked to find anyone that fancied the Spaniard. He then went on to shoot a 65 card and place himself on -7 alongside Hovland and Koepka.

The flag positions have been moved on all 18 holes today and the changes could make for some really difficult approach play throughout the morning and afternoon.

Take a look at the 11th, 12th and 13th holes at Amen Corner in particular with all three flags moved closer to the edges of the green than what they were on day one. Any mistake there (and usually there are a few) could spell disaster for players.

It's easy to drop anywhere between 2-5 shots in the dreaded trio of holes and these positions will only make things harder.

America's unpredictable weather could wreak havoc today as the course decision-makers decided that predicted bad weather could impact proceedings. Currently it's cloudy with the morning sun trying to break through but torrential rain and strong winds are expected.

Jose Maria Olazabal and Cameron Champ have just got us underway for day two at Augusta.

We will be following every round and bringing you updates throughout the afternoon and evening but in the mean time will continue to look back at some of yesterday's biggest moments and all the exciting possibilities that today poses.

When you look over the day two tee times it's clear to see that there are some big pairings and trios that could really decide who shapes up at the top of the leaderboard at the close of play.

10:24 a.m EST (3:24 pm) – Jordan Spieth, Tommy Fleetwood, Tony Finau

Spieth won the Master's in 2015 and has loved his time at Augusta in recent years but hasn't quite managed to complete a four day performance to clinch a second green jacket. He's finally poised at -3 to mount a charge alongside fellow American Finau who also seems to thrive on the challenging course.

12:18 p.m EST (5:18 pm) – Shane Lowry, Mackenzie Hughes, Thomas Pieters

Lowry is well suited to really throw his name in the hat on day two and it would be no surprise to see the former British open champion push himself into the top five today.

Expect this to be the most followed trio of the day, most notably due to Tiger Woods who despite his torrid opening round is still the most popular player at Augusta. Americans and Europeans both love him but he must improve on yesterday's awful +2 round or he is at serious risk of missing the cut. Meanwhile if Hovland can match yesterday's showing then he will surely be clear at the top.

So after an enthrallin gday one it is urope who look best placed to clinch the famous green jacket. Norway's Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm command a surprise lead at 7- while American Brooks Koepka is the only home player to enjoy a share of the lead. It was a difficult opening round for Rory Mcllroy who remains level on par and seven shots off the lead.
