I'm a pediatrician - here's why everyone should be more like eight-year-old girls

A pediatrician and father-of-seven has claimed that the secret to becoming 'the best kind of person' is acting like an eight-year-old girl - insisting that elementary school girls are the 'highest form of humanity'. 

Dr. Michael Milobsky is a Colorado-based medical expert with over 20 years of experience who believes the world should follow the lead of young girls.

The doctor took to Instagram to praise eight-year-old girls as the 'highest form of humanity.'

He described the kids as the 'best people' and even said, 'Congress should be all eight-year-old girls.'

In a clip shared to his social media account, he said: 'I spend all day dealing and talking to and interacting with people of all ages.  

'I just have to say in my own experience as a pediatrician and a parent of seven [that] the highest form of humanity are eight-year-old girls.'

He went on to gush about the children for their ability to care about others in an incomparable way.   

'Eight-year-old girls are magnanimous. They’re sympathetic. They’re empathetic. They’re emotionally mature. They love to help,' he explained. 

'They love to give. They love to do for others. They’re accepting of everybody. They’re the ones who see the sign for the lost cat and want to go find it.' 

He noted that the elementary school-age girls are the 'best people' before giving his take on how to make the world a better place.  

Dr. Milobsky added: 'In my opinion, Congress should be all eight-year-old girls. Honestly, the country would be a better place. I said what I said.' 

He further emphasized his point in the caption of the clip, writing: 'If you want to know how to be the best kind of person, spend time with some eight year olds.'

Many viewers flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts, agreeing with the doctor. 

One person wrote: 'My youngest daughter is currently 8, and I could not agree with this more. She is magical, and if I could bottle that magic up I would sprinkle it over the world and share it with everyone. It really is the most delightful age.' 

Another user added: 'I can attest to this! My daughter is 9 and she continues to have these qualities. She became sassier too. I don’t know from where she got that!' 

'As a mom of an eight-year-old girl, I agree 1,000 per cent. The heart in this human is huge,' commented one mom. 

Another parent wrote: 'As the dad of an eight-year-old girl, I can’t agree more.'

In a follow-up post shared to his TikTok account, the doctor clarified that eight-year-old girls and boys need to be praised for their big hearts.

He described eight-year-old boys as the 'Oceans Eleven' of childhood, noting that they can do 'just about anything.' 

The pediatrician praised their ability to intensely collaborate as their 'superpower.' 

He said: 'Eight-year-old boys are out there in the neighborhood with packs of bicycles going to do something and accomplish something and (to) have an experience or have an adventure.'

He also recommended that eight-year-old boys run the Army Corps of Engineers. 

The pediatrician said: 'Give them a river to cross. Give them a bridge to build, you get enough 8-year-old boys together, and they will figure it out. Eight-year-old boys can "Ocean’s 11" almost any situation. I said what I said.'
