Australian boxing world champion Ebanie Bridges has come clean the eye-watering pay packet she received join OnlyFans - and the weirdest requests she gets from followers.

The IBF bantamweight champion has won swathes of fans with her disarming sense of humour, aggressive boxing style and revealing weigh-in outfits.

The former Sydney maths teacher launched her OnlyFans account in December before her spiteful world title showdown with rival Shannon O'Connell, and says she doesn't regret the move one bit.

'I was the first female boxer on OnlyFans, but now you've got Mikaela Mayer, Siniesa Estrada, guys like Devin Haney, Derek Chisora, Andy Ruiz, a whole bunch of influencers that are using it,' Bridges told News Corp.

'It's not porn, it's moving away from porn. I got paid over a quarter of a million pounds [$460,000] just to start it.

'There is a stigma around it but it's not porn, I put everyday stuff on there that I would post on social media anyway, but now I'm getting paid for it.

'I am a boxer, but I box twice a year. Two paycheques a year is nothing. I'm not getting millions, like the men, off boxing, so I'd be dumb not to maximise what I can earn elsewhere.'

Bridges admits she's attracted more 'haters' have since finding fame in and out of the ring, but she has no plans of slowing down and will continue being herself

'I have a few of them, that's what OnlyFans is good for.'

Bridges has no plans to change despite coming in for criticism over her persona out of the ring.

'Where we're at now in society, it's all about social media, that's how you promote and market,' she said.

'When it comes to sport, especially boxing where you're not in a team, you're by yourself, you're your own business, your own brand. It's important to use social media to build your brand, and it's free.

'So I've used it to build my brand and I've got to think about life after boxing. If I've got the celebrity-type status I'm going to continue to make money once I've retired from sport.'

Bridges is currently recovering from a injury to her hand that she sustained while beating fellow Australian, Shannon O'Connell.

It is unclear who the Blonde Bomber will take on next, but she recently suggested that a bout between herself and Aussie OnlyFans model Avril Mathie would 'break the internet'.
