A missing Minnesota mom was no longer in a relationship with the father of her kids and was looking to move out of their home when she disappeared, her sister has revealed.

Mom-of-two Madeline Kingsbury had split from Adam Fravel and was still living with him while she looked for a new home when she vanished, according to her sister Megan Kingsbury.

The 26-year-old mom was last seen more than two weeks ago by Fravel at their home at 10 a.m. on March 31 and her disappearance has shaken the small town of Winona.

Madeline was considering moving closer to her sister two hours north to the Twin Cities - St. Paul and Minneapolis, but was insistent she stayed close to Fravel for co-parenting purposes, Megan told KARE 11.

Fravel denies any involvement in Madeline's disappearance - which police have described as 'involuntary' - and he released a statement through his lawyers reprimanding the hate he's received from people during the investigation.

Their two kids, two and five, were in his care until they were taken away by a social worker following an alleged uncooperative outburst he had with investigators.

Fravel's name wasn't initially revealed by police but the father-of-two came forward on his own free will to speak out about Madeline.

'My family and I have been subject to a myriad of accusations regarding the disappearance of the mother of my children,' he told KSTP.

'During these last 12 days, I have cooperated with law enforcement at every turn, including sitting down for multiple interviews with Winona County law enforcement,' he said. 'I did not have anything to do with Maddi’s disappearance.'

'I want the mother of my 5-year-old and 2-year-old to be found and brought home safely. I want that more than anything,' Fravel wrote in a statement.

More than 100 searches have been conducted by law enforcement through tips received from a CrimeStoppers line, according to Megan. The status of the searches are unknown.

Megan recalled the day Madeline went missing and the last text she received from her around 8:15am.

Madeline had responded to a funny vacation photo her sister sent the night before but with a simple, 'lol,' Megan told the news outlet.

She was last seen by her kid's daycare teacher at 8am when she dropped them off with Fravel.

The two then returned home and Fravel last saw her when he left the home at 10am, he told authorities. When he returned, Madeline was gone.

Megan shared her sister works from home and will occasionally run to Target and other errands throughout the day.

But Madeline failed to log onto work and later didn't respond to several calls and messages. She also didn't pick up her children later that day.

Madeline's disappearance wasn't questioned until later that day when her mom failed to get ahold of her.

According to her family, Madeline was always in constant communication.

'For years, since her first child was born, which is five years ago now, I talked to her multiple times daily - FaceTime, phone, texts,' Megan previously told Fox News.

Her family later filed a missing person's report and found Madeline left her phone, wallet and ID inside her home and it's unclear whether she left the house of her own volition.

This is very unlike her. She's not the type of person who would want to take a break and not tell anybody.

'If she had a problem and wanted to get away, she would come to my house,' Megan said.

Megan added her sister had plans to go over to her home the next morning with her five-year-old daughter, Ellie.

Police have expressed they are 'concerned for her [Madeline's] safety'.

Using surveillance video, police determined a van that matched the couple's was seen in Fillmore County between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on March 31, according to the La Crosse Tribune

Fravel told investigators he was using the van that day.

Megan revealed that the van was her sister's and the couple used it to transport their kids because it fit two carseats, according to KARE 11.

They did not confirm who was driving the van at the time. They are asking residents in both counties to check their own security cameras to see if they noticed the minivan.

Kingsbury's family spoke at a press conference Wednesday, offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her return, according to ABC News

'Please help us find Madeline,' said her sister, Megan Kingsbury. 'Her children need their mother. We need our daughter, our sister, our aunt and our best friend back.'

She's described as 5 feet 4 inches, weighing about 135 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Megan Kingsbury described her sister as a 'hard-working and dedicated mother' who doubles up her job at the Mayo Clinic with graduate studies.

'Our hearts go out to Kingsbury's family and we are asking everyone to help us bring her home safely,' Winona police stated Monday.
