Latto says she did not photoshop any images to enhance the size of her Coachella crowd.
The musical artist, 24, took to Instagram Stories Tuesday to push back on allegations she used technology to make the size of the audience appear bigger.
'Never photoshopped a crowd lmao,' the Columbus, Ohio native said in a caption splayed across an image of her facing the crowd at the Indio, California-based music festival.
The emerging performer, whose name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens, said that an image she posted was expanded for aesthetics on Instagram, but accidentally published to Twitter.
'I expanded it so it would fit in my Instagram swipe without getting cut off but it was clearly f***ed up so I didn't end up using it & just posted the wrong version by accident on Twitter babes,' Latto said.

The Grammy-nominated performed ended the social media post in saying, 'Next' with a series of emojis.
A number of social media users speculated on the authenticity of the image after the Big Energy vocalist posted an image to social media of herself facing the crowd, with some pointing out that some of the crowd members appeared to be replicated.
Others defended the performer, saying it was a technical by product of formatting the concert shot for social media posting.
'It’s from the photo being expanded using content aware fill, like if you try to change the aspect ratio of a photo without distorting the image photoshop or any editor will “create pixels by trying to match what’s around it so you don’t need to distort the image,"' one user said.
Another user supported the theory, writing, 'Everything outside this red box is photoshop content aware filled. Again, just the photographer wanting the shot to be framed differently. Crowd only got like 5 percent bigger. And she sure as hell wasn’t the one on photoshop doing it lmfao.'
The user said the replication was the result of a framing issue that was remedied prior to posting on social media.
Said the user: '99% sure what happened is the photographer didn’t frame her in the middle of the shot, so to better align her, he used content aware fill in photoshop to extend the right side of the photo a lil more. It’s not like there weren’t people right there anyways.'
Latto was one of a number of high-profile performers to take the stage Sunday on the first weekend of the Southern California music festival. Others included Frank Ocean, Björk and Rae Sremmurd.
