The family of Randall 'Randy' Cooke, 59, who was murdered while making a delivery as an Uber Eats driver has been remembered as 'the most perfect' person.

Cooke was killed by MS-13 gang member Oscar Solis Jr, 30, while making his final food delivery on April 19 in Florida around 6:30 pm, police said.

His dismembered remains were later found in trash bags that Solis and another person had removed from the house. Cooke's blood and wedding ring were also discovered in the home.

His murder has left the local community in shock, with Cooke described as a devoted family man who worked hard to support their dream of living by the ocean.

Melany Dzoba, Cooke's stepdaughter, said he was the 'most perfect man' and 'such a happy guy' who was always trying to have fun.

'He was the most perfect man. Such a happy guy. I mean, we all go through our ups and downs. We're all still human, but he just — he was always just so happy and just trying to have fun and laugh — all the time,' she told WFTS in an interview.

Cooke met Dzoba's mother in 2012, and the couple tied the knot in 2020.

'It was a relationship I could always hope for,' she explained. 'Just conjoined at the hip. Soulmates until the very end.

'I still have a voicemail on my phone from last Monday of just his voice and him telling me how much he loves me and how much he's there for me,' she said.

Cooke's other stepdaughter, Brittany Dzoba, tearfully shared how he moved to Pasco from Seminole County to be closer to the ocean and fulfil his family's dream of living close to the coast.

Cooke was a graphic designer by trade but also carried out deliveries for UberEats to bring in extra income.

'He just had to do anything he could to make ends meet, you know,' she said. 'Randy just made everything better,' Dzoba said.

'I love my mom to death and I hate to see her like this,' she cried.

'Just knowing that she has to come home every day to her husband not there. They shared so many amazing memories together.'

'There's no way someone in their right mind did something like this. I mean, doesn't make sense. The minor details aren't adding up,' Dzoba said.

Solis, who was affiliated with MS-13 in Indiana, had a lengthy criminal record, including resisting arrest together with a charge for stabbing a fellow inmate in prison.

He had been released and sent to Florida in January. Solis now faces charges of murder while engaged in a robbery, failure to register as a convicted felon and a parole violation, jail records show.

Authorities are still trying to determine the motive for Cooke's murder, and his loved ones remain baffled by the seemingly random killing.

Oscar Solis Jr. (pictured left), 30, is charged with killing the 59-year-old driver Randal Cooke (pictured right) during a delivery Wednesday at a home in Holiday, Florida, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said at a news conference

'You're talking about a violent individual that Indiana released and sent down to Florida,' Sheriff Chris Nocco said at a press conference.

'Unfortunately, now we have a hardworking guy, a loving husband, who is no longer with us because this violent individual killed him. All it appears is that this was somebody who is working doing his last delivery of the night, and this person killed him for no reason.'

The community has rallied around Cooke's family, with a GoFundMe page set up to help with expenses. The page has raised almost $43,000 in just three days.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the case=,

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Solis worked security at a strip club, according to the affidavit.

Evidence collected in the case includes blood discovered in various locations in the house and a key fob belonging to Cooke found on Solis' dresser, on top of his wallet.

Solis' roommate gave authorities access to surveillance video which showed Cooke approaching the home to make his delivery.

The affidavit also says Cooke's car was found abandoned a short distance away, and inside were a trash bag containing blood-soaked rags and towels, a Door Dash bag like one Cooke carried and an employment time card with Solis' name on it.

Investigators also obtained surveillance video from the house showing Cooke making the food delivery and, later, two Hispanic men carrying heavy trash bags outside.

Cooke had been reported missing by his wife after he failed to return home.
