Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough has revealed she had to work harder to be heard throughout her acting career as she is routinely underestimated.

The US actress, who stars in the hit series Daisy Jones & The Six, is the cover star for the May issue of Vogue Australia, and she spoke to the publication about what it was like building a career as a nepo-baby.

Asked if she had been routinely underestimated in the industry, Riley said: 'I’ve experienced it a lot in my career, where you feel like you have to work a lot harder to be heard.

'There’s a perception, or it feels like you’ve ended up where you are by accident and not that you’ve earned your seat at the table.'

Working hard is something that the actress prides herself on, as she is a self-confessed workaholic.
