Dame Joan Collins, 89, celebrates her rarely-seen brother's birthday

Dame Joan Collins was seen celebrating her brother Bill's 77th birthday with an intimate dinner at the Ivy Chelsea Garden in London on Monday evening.

The actress, 89, left the swanky eatery arm-in-arm with her husband Percy Gibson, 58, after they enjoyed celebrating her rarely-seen sibling's birthday.

Joan looked as glamorous as ever in a black fur-trim jacket with a pair of wide-legged trousers and a pair of heeled boots.

The British star wore her hair swept up into a chignon and sported a glamorous face of make-up, including a heavy smokey-eye and a pink lip.

Meanwhile, Percy looked dapper in a white shirt and blazer, teamed with a pair of blue jeans and Gucci loafers.

The party were also joined by American actor Michael Brandon and his South African actress wife Glynis Barber.

The outing came after Joan shared a tribute to Bill on her Instagram page, writing: 'A very happy to my brother, Bill who has been like a rock supporting my whole family!'

Their outing comes after Joan made it a family affair as she posed for a rare photo with her youngest daughter Katy during a trip to a health spa last week.

The former Dynasty actress doesn't post many pictures of Katy online but decided to mark her relaxing weekend with the mother daughter snap.

Joan and Katy smiled for the camera as a thrilled Katy, dressed in a blue padded jacket, wrapped her arms round her famous mum's shoulders. 

Joan's husband Percy Gibson also joined her on the trip to Champneys Spa in Henslow and could be seen in another photo casually dressed in jeans and a blue hooded zipper 

Meanwhile, Joan donned a long white scarf and a striped top, black jacket, teamed with a baseball cap and jeans.

Joan wrote of the experience: 'Wonderfully refreshing week at #champneyshenlow - great treatments and fabulous friendly staff which is classic @champneysspas.' 

Fans loved seeing Joan with Katy who was the subject of her book Katy: A Fight For Life following her accident in August 3 1980.

Aged just eight, Katy whose father is Joan's former husband Ron Kass, was almost killed in a horrific road accident and spent 47 days in a coma with serious head injuries and a broken collarbone.

Doctors feared she would not survive and she was left with brain injuries.

Dame Joan also has two older children Tara and Alexander Newly from her first marriage to Anthony Newly.
