The goat that cried wolf!
Police Officers David Sneed and Neal Storey were given quite the scare on Monday while responding to a call in Enid, Oklahoma.
The two men were seen running through a treelined path, hearts pounding, as they heard what sounded like a deep male voice screaming: 'Help! Help!'
'I think that's a person,' one officer, whose bodycam was released, said, sounding a bit unsure. But as he heard the cry again he was certain: 'That's a person.'
The two officers took off toward the sound, only to find seconds later that it was a goat.
'It's a goat,' the second officer said as a small farm appeared in the video.
As the goat continued to scream, the first officer laughed and added: 'It is [a goat].'

The owner of the farm, who was not identified, confirmed it was his silly goat and the officers told him they couldn't tell at first whether or not it was an animal or a human being.
'Sure enough, we were walking over here and we're like: "That's a person,"' the second officer said.
'From a long distance, it sounds like help,' the first officer laughed.
The owner said he would 'put [the goat] up' at the end of the video.
The goat was said to be 'very upset' because he got 'separated from one of his friends'
The Enid Police Department posted the video on social media Tuesday morning, writing: 'Sometimes a call can really get your goat...Running toward the sound, the two soon discovered their damsel in distress was a very upset goat, who the farmer explained, had been separated from one of his friends.'
The department thanked the two men for their 'swift actions,' even if in the end it was 'not necessary.'
'All in all, you really can’t say it was that baaad of a call,' the department said.
