Denny's just brought back a MAJOR fan favorite

Denny's is bringing new meaning to the phrase 'go big or go home' after re-introducing its iconic 'Super Slam' meal, an enormous menu item that is hailed as 'America's biggest breakfast'. 

The fast food chain has brought back the 'fan favorite' dish - which offers two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips, two sausage links, and crispy hash browns - in honor of its 70th anniversary. 

Included in Denny's 'All Day Diner Deals', the meal will be available 24/7 while it remains on the menu... but food lovers can only seize upon the mammoth $9.99 spread until June 20. 

And if the classic Super Slam doesn't offer enough variety (or calories), Denny's customers can choose to customize the meal with an array of menu options, from replacing the buttermilk pancakes with 'choconana' pancakes to adding extra bacon and sausage for an even heartier serving.

Included in Denny's 'All Day Diner Deals', the meal will be available 24/7 while it remains on the menu... but food lovers can only seize upon the mammoth $9.99 spread until June 20 

The eggs included in the meal are served over-easy, poached, sunny-side-up, or soft-boiled, depending on how you order them. 

The fluffy and oversized pancakes are made with fresh buttermilk everyday.

However, any health-conscious foodies may want to steer clear of the Super Slam - which contains anywhere between 810 and 1,950 calories, depending on the customized options chosen. 

For example, opting for choconana pancakes will seen an extra 870 calories added to your plate, while choosing to supplement your hash browns with cheese will pile on an extra 70 calories. 

Despite the rather hefty calorie count, Denny's is confident that customers will flock to take advantage of the Super Slam, with the company's Chief Marketing Officer, Sherry Landry, saying in a statement: 'We understand value is important to our guests, especially right now. 

'Our Super Slam is simply unbeatable, featuring craveable classic breakfast items at a compelling price.

'Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and whether you eat it at 6 am or 6 pm, it should include all your favorites and be shared with your favorite people around the table. The Super Slam makes it easier to do just that.' 

Meanwhile Denny's VP of product innovation, Sharon Lykins, chimed in: 'You don't get a lot of options that combine high-quality products with unparalleled abundance. The Super Slam truly has it all!'

In previous years when the 'Super Slam' was brought back, fans confirmed exactly why it was their 'fan favorite', with commenters flooding the brand's Instagram to celebrate the news of its return. 

'Head over to Denny's and order its Super Slam! So much food for a great price!' one person commented, while another wrote: 'I don't always take myself on a breakfast date, but when I do, I do it big. I had a date with Denny's Breakfast Super Slam. It was fire.'

'It's no coincidence that Denny's Diner calls this a Super Slam as it was truly a slam dunk in my opinion,' a third added.  

One person noted that the Super Slam conjured up happy memories of their past vacations with fans, saying: 'It's the nostalgia for me! How about you? Denny's + Grand Slam Breakfast = Family Road Trips.'

'DENNY's has once again SLAM Dunked my heart (and stomach) with its SUPER SLAMS breakfast and cheese sandwich melts!' another said.
