The lawyer for an OnlyFans model accused of killing her partner has claimed new evidence suggests she killed her boyfriend in self-defense and that she was a victim of abuse.
Courtney Clenney, 26, allegedly murdered her boyfriend Christian Obumseli in their Miami apartment on April 3, 2022.
Clenney, who claimed she stabbed him in self-defense, was arrested for second-degree murder four months after his death - and last month, his family launched a lawsuit against her to cover his medical and funeral costs.
Photos of the crime scene from 2022 showed a puddle of blood near an entryway of the couple's apartment, the bloody knife supposedly used in the attack and Clenney drenched in Obumseli's blood.
Now, Sabrina Puglisi and Frank Prieto, the attorneys for Clenney, have claimed there are three instances they will use at trial as evidence to suggest their client was in fact a victim of abuse.

They say one of the instances was caught on police body cam in Las Vegas, with a cop saying he heard her say 'get your hands off me' - allegedly speaking about Obumseli.
The attorneys say they then found clumps of her hair on the ground in their room.
Puglisi told Law&Crime: 'The first is in Las Vegas in 2021 where she actually called security and the interview of the security officer by police.
'And you can see it in the body camera of the police officer, he says he overheard her saying get your hands off me, and when they got up to the room clumps of her hair were on the ground.'
Clenney's attorney Frank Prieto told Law&Crime: 'I think that the fact that the detective in this matter did not arrest her for four months while they investigated the case. It's very telling.
Speaking about the clip of his client striking her boyfriend in an elevator, Prieto said: 'What the media has portrayed is a snapshot in time.
Seen her in a mugshot from her arrest, Clenney faces second-degree murder charges
'If you actually look at the first few seconds of that video, which is cut off in most news media cycles…what you see is actually she does not want him to come into the elevator to go upstairs.
'There is only one key Fob in order to be able to get up into this apartment.'
He also said that there's no doubt that both the boyfriend and girlfriend acted inappropriately during their relationship, reports Law&Crime.
Meanwhile, Michael Haggard, who represents Obumseli’s family, maintains that forensic evidence is 'clear that Christian was not an aggressor in any way.'
He said: 'There's one aggressor in this case.'
Clenney is still in prison awaiting a trial.
Security footage taken from the building's elevator two months before the murder also showed Clenney viscously attacking her boyfriend, who appeared not to fight back
Released 911 audio following the stabbing revealed Clenney told her former lover, 'baby, I'm so sorry' after allegedly plunging a knife into his shoulder.
She didn't tell the operator that she had stabbed him, but sobbed to him about how sorry she was.
In the background, Obumseli can be heard crying out: 'I can't feel my arm.'
Graphic case photos have revealed that she stabbed her much larger boyfriend inches above a tattoo of her name in cursive on the left side of his chest.
At the time, Obumseli's family said it showed that she intended to kill him, then regretted it once the knife had been plunged into him.
'It shows her state of mind. She’s saying she’s sorry because she’s realizing what she’s done. She’s not saying, "I was defending myself,"' his family's attorney, Larry Hadfield said.
Obumseli was rushed to the hospital but he died of his injuries.
