A 14-year-old girl who was killed when she was ejected from a BMW after it slammed into a parked UPS truck has been identified as an honor roll student who dreamed of becoming a doctor.

Fortune Williams was a passenger in the car with a 16-year-old boy who, according to her mother, was driving 'at a high rate of speed' in the Queens section of New York City on Wednesday.

Horrific video that was posted on the Citizen App, captured the moment the red 2005 BMW 325i crashed into the back of the stationary truck. The driver survived, but Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unclear if she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the smash.

Due to the speed of the BMW, the UPS truck violently rocked back and forth and caused the delivery driver to be thrown to the ground.

The incident happened Wednesday night on North Conduit Avenue and 160th Street in the Springfield Gardens neighborhood.

Keisha Francis, the devastated mother of the teen told The New York Post that she last spoke to her daughter less than an hour before the crash.

'Before I hung up, she said 'Mama I love you.'

Francis said her daughter was a 'beautiful, smart, loving, kind, caring, little girl,' and that she was a 'very loving child. And she's loved by many.'

Williams, who was a student at Springfield Gardens High School, had been taking nursing classes. She was an honor roll student and dreamed of becoming a doctor.

'She had a honor roll ceremony on the 24th, and we were preparing for that and her birthday is coming on June 4,' Francis said. 'She loved music. She loved to dance.'

Francis searched desperately through the debris at the scene on Thursday morning for anything that would remind her of her daughter.

Speaking to ABC7, she said: 'I found her bracelet I can't sleep. I come to get her. I come to get my daughter. I can't live without my daughter.'

She continued: 'My life will never be the same without Fortune. Fortune is a sweetheart. She's a loving, caring child.'

A GoFundMe created by a family friend to help pay for expenses, described the teen, who was fondly nicknamed 'The Yummy Fudge or 'The Good Fortune,' as well-mannered, hard working, very caring towards her siblings.

She was filled with teenage wit and a youthful glamour only she could carry. She loved fashion, fried chicken and helping her mommy in the kitchen.'

Francis also told the news site she was working when the tragedy happened, and that her daughter had gone out with a friend in their car.

Police are now investigating why the 16-year-old boy was behind the wheel with another minor. The NYPD says he was driving with a Learner's Permit and speeding.

The name of the driver has not been released. He was taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center where he is said to be in stable condition.

The 49-year-old UPS driver was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was said to be in a stable condition.

Photos captured at the scene show the wrecked red BMW which due to the impact is almost unrecognizable.
