The last we saw of Josh Hart, the Knicks wing had missed the birth of his two twin sons on May 12 to play in the Knicks' season-ending Game 6 loss vs. the Heat.

Not even a month later, Hart's wife Shannon and their infant boys appear to be doing well. Their dad, however, is getting roasted on Twitter.

Hart asked his 590k Twitter followers on Tuesday evening, 'Have yall ever tasted yall significant others breast milk? Asking for a friend.'

And his fellow basketball players were quick to ridicule the question, with Kings star De'Aaron Fox saying, 'I'm actually not surprised you asked the question less than a month in.'

Pelicans sharpshooter CJ McCollum also chimed in, saying 'Sick conversation [laughing-crying emoji] heard it goes down like almond milk [laughing-crying emoji].

But his good friend and teammate Jalen Brunson was a bit less forgiving, replying,' Nah bro no BS delete my number,' before posting a screen recording of him unfollowing his former Villanova teammate.

But the mockery of Hart on Tuesday extended past the NBA world, as Stephen A. Smith - a noted Knicks fan - was bemused with the guard's comments.

'My brother @joshhart! WTH? I'll need a moment to process this... but I'm definitely talking about this on the Stephen A. Smith Show today,' he said.

'I can promise you that. Just need a few hours to process.'

Smith's ESPN colleague Dan Orlovsky, however, was on the same page as Hart.

'100%,' he answered the question.

Hart wrote a tribute to his wife Shannon on Mother's Day earlier this month, posting on Instagram, 'Happy first Mothers Day! Thank you for bringing these two miracles into our lives. Here’s to changing nasty diapers, the crying and no more sleep.'

The caption accompanied a photo of the couple with the twins after their births, though the faces are covered.

Hart quickly became a fan favorite after joining the team at the trade deadline as he averaged 10.2 points on a scorching 58.6 percent from the field.

Hart is expected to decline his almost $13million player option this offseason, per HoopsHype, but the Knicks reportedly want to sign him in free agency.
