Baby Gronk's dad has been called out by golf influencer Paige Spiranac, retired NFL offensive tackle Taylor Lewan and ESPN's Ashley Brewer for 'sliding into their DMs' on social media.

Madden San Miguel, popularly knows as 'Baby Gronk,' has been tipped to become American football's next prodigy due to the hype built around the 10-year-old on social media.

The 10-year-old's father, Jake San Miguel, is trying to monetize all of the attention online and even once described himself as being 'pretty good at this internet stuff,' referring to coming up with a variety of reach-out tactics to engage different media personalities in order to promote his son's brand further.

But some notable A-list names in the world of sports have now blasted Jake for trying to connect with them over the weekend.

It began when Lewan, who played for the Tennessee Titans for eight seasons (2014-2022), tweeted a screenshot of Baby Gronk's father sending him DMs on Instagram, with the latter trying to get his son on the 'Bussin' With the Boys' podcast that Lewis is a part of.

'Baby Gronks dad… woof,' Lewan tweeted with a snap of the Baby Gronk account sending him messages on several occasions within the last year.

It provided a chance for ESPN anchor Ashley Brewer to reply with a screenshot of her own experience with Baby Gronk's Instagram account messaging her on her own profile, asking if she could do a story on Madden.

She captioned her tweet with two words: 'double woof.'

Spiranac chimed into the call out session by sharing a screenshot of Baby Gronk reaching out to her on Instagram, asking if she's ever in Dallas, Texas - where the San Miguels want to 'collab.'

Baby Gronk's verified Instagram account boosts 321,000 followers.

His newfound fame online grew exponentially following unofficial visits to schools with prestigious football programs, like the University of Florida, University of Texas and University of Kentucky.

He's snapped hanging out with ex-NBA star and media personality Shaquille O'Neal, actor and producer Mark Wahlberg, and Olivia Dunne, a college gymnastics star at LSU and social media influencer, who 'rizzed up' Madden in a viral TikTok video.

She even convinced Baby Gronk to commit to LSU after the pair met in Louisiana.

While social media's certainly provided financial gain and exposure for Madden, it has also become a platform for online users to criticize his father for promoting his son and living through him.

The elder San Miguel revealed that the ultimate goal is for his son to reach the NFL, but in the scenario in which he doesn't, the money stemming from NIL deals, brand promotions and media appearances will set up his son for the rest of his life by the time he's out of high school.

'The internet shows one thing, but he is the kid you want at your house,' Jake told The Athletic. 'He's that kid. Everything we're doing, it looks like a show. It's not reality.

'I know how to balance the internet and real life. I don't think my son is a God or better than all these other kids out there.

'His goal is to go to the NFL. But the NFL is rare. It's hard to make. So my goal is to build him a platform and a following where he is making money now and it's going into a savings account.'
