As the refs review a foul call the tension in Denver can be cut with a knife as the game comes down to it's final moments

The Nuggets lead this one 86-82 with 3:21 remaining as the action on the court is all over the place. Following his struggles Jimmy Butler has hit two clutch three-pointers as the officials check the replay to determine if he is going to the foul line for three shots or is whistled for an offensive foul for unnatural shooting motion.

Update: The call on the floor stands as Butler goes to the line for three shots.

Miami call another time out as the game has reached a frantic pace with intense defense on both sides

Denver hold the lead 81-76 with 6:42 left in the fourth. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have been running an unstoppable two-man game as of late and now sit on 24 and 14 points respectively.

Adebayo still remains at 20 points as his output has been quieted down. Miami has been reliant on their role players stepping up as Jimmy Butler's has been absent offensively and is currently shooting 2-12 in 35 minutes.

The Nuggets jumped out to a 5-0 run to take the lead 75-71 and after two quick buckets from Jokic and Murray. The game clock sits at 10:59 as the teams discuss strategy in these pivotal final moments of action.

As the third quarter ends we have a one-point game that appears to be coming down to the wire

The Miami Heat lead 71-70 as we head into the final quarter of play. Adebayo has reached 20 points as he continues to be the player of the game for Miami. Kyle Lowry has stepped up and contributed three huge three-pointers off the bench.

Jokic and Porter Jr. still continue to fuel Denver on the night and have 18 and 16 points respectively.

Miami is back in lead after going up 64-60 following the previous timeout. Caleb Martin has become the second member of the Heat to score more than 10 points so far as the Heat have taken advantage of several big misses by Denver.

We're all noted up at 60 as Denver have fought back to tie up the score. Jokic has secured his double-double as he currently sits at 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Porter Jr also has recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Adebayo has recorded Miami's only double so far as he still leads the game with 18 points and has increased his rebounding total up to 10.

As the first half comes to a close Miami hold a 51-44 lead over the Nuggets

It's been the 'back against the wall' Bam Adebayo show as the Miami's big man leads the game with 18 points in the first half. He is also only one rebound away from a double-double.

After carrying the Heat by his lonesome in the first quarter Adebayo received help from several teammates as Miami was able to overturn an early deficit. 

Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr. are tied for the Nuggets lead with nine points and are closing in on their own double-doubles.

Denver has been nonexistent from three-point range are an abysmal 1-15 from beyond the arch. The nine turnovers have also proven to be an issue for the Nuggets.

A couple of quick possessions including a stellar pass from Jokic to hit Caldwell-Pope in the corner have cut the score to Heat 39-35 Denver. 

Since checking back in after his early foul woes Denver's star big man has contributed in multiple facets to keep his side in the ball game.

Denver calls a timeout with 7:17 left in the second quarter

Miami has jumped out to a 10-point advantage as Adebayo has finally gotten some help. Jimmy Butler has climbed to six points while Duncan Robinson has also gotten on the scoreboard with five. Caleb Martin has also increased from two points up to six to help Miami pull off an 18-point turnaround.

Porter Jr. still leads the Nuggets with seven as they have struggled to put the ball in the basket this quarter.

And as we wrap up an exciting first quarter Miami holds the lead by two

Heat 24-22 Nuggets. Bam Adebayo is a man on a mission right now and leads the game with 14 points, single handedly willing Miami into the lead. Max Strus's eight points and Caleb Martin's two points are still the only other points on the board for Miami.

Meanwhile Michael Porter Jr. leads the Nuggets with seven points after a hot end to the quarter. Nikola Jokic has registered only three points off one shot and sat down early due to foul troubles.

Jamal Murray has also gotten off to a slow start and is shooting 1-5 from the field.

After a 13-2 run Miami have gained a small advantage as the quarter nears an end

With 2:14 remaining in the first quarter the Heat have jumped ahead 21-18 on the scoreboard.

Bam Adebayo has taken over the game on offense for the time being and has 11 points to lead the game. Max Strus and Caleb Martin are the only other players on Miami's roster to score.
