'Three years ago, I bought these chairs off of Facebook Marketplace, and immediately the guy deleted his Facebook page afterward so that was a red flag,' she explained.

The video then cut to an image of her chic black and white striped chairs.

After showing the photo, Marlie said: 'This is what I saw last night in this South Georgia McDonald’s.'

She cut to a clip of her inside the McDonald's, where she found multiple of the exact same chair she owns.

'It’s identical. Those are stolen McDonald’s chairs, McDonald’s, I will kindly return these stolen artifacts to you,' she said.

Marlie then joked: 'I do apologize. I know you’ve been spiraling out of control missing these chairs. Look no further.'

The 26-year-old - who purchased four chairs for $100 - captioned the clip: 'McDonald's, your interior designer slayed.'

And while she claimed her chairs were stolen from the fast food chain, many viewers rushed to the comments section to reveal they could be from IKEA because the store sells a slightly similar model, however, it doesn't sell the same color as Marlie's chairs.

Another user said there was a store in Georgia that sold furniture from hotels and restaurants, advising Marlie to keep the chairs.

'Didn’t Ikea used to have something similar?' one person questioned.

One person wrote: 'Maybe not stolen! There’s a place in Georgia that does sale hotel & restaurants things. Keep your chairs! You paid for them'

'Girl keep the chair. I’m sure they have a budget for things like that, plus you paid for them,' another person commented.

Someone else wrote: 'But they are really adorable lol.'

Another person added: 'Yep. You are in possession of stolen property. Turn yourself in now before Grimace and Ronald show up at your house.'

And Marlie isn't the first content creator to have claimed to have purchased stolen property.
