The latest edition of the celebrity team match play golf tournament 'The Match' was not the most well watched version of the event.
According to SBJ, the eighth incarnation of the event was the least watched in its short-lived history.
Just around 782,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday to the event between the team of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and the team of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
The Kansas City Chiefs teammates got the upper hand on the Golden State Warriors' pair - with Mahomes and Kelce taking the match 3 and 2.
By comparison, the version of The Match that took place last June between Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen/Patrick Mahomes brought in 1.452million viewers.

This was both Mahomes and Curry's second attempt to win the event after losing their first
It was Curry and Mahomes' second time each competing in this event - with both having lost in the past.
But Kelce and Thompson both made their debuts playing golf on television. However, few tuned in to TNT, TruTV, and HLN where it was being broadcast.
This is the fourth version of the match to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada - with all of them being broadcast on Turner Sports.
It was also the first version to feature two pairs of championship winning teammates in different sports.
