Younger 2024 candidates - and even some of the older ones - are on a mission to prove they are more physically fit than current President Joe Biden, 80, and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, 76.
It comes as questions continue to surface over Biden's fitness for office – both mentally and physically. Critics point to the president's age, continued verbal mishaps and times where he has stumbled, tripped and even fallen to the ground as proof that he should no longer be leading the country.
Biden broke records in 2020 by becoming the oldest-ever president inaugurated – and would do so again if reelected in 2024. The president would be 82 at the time of his second swearing-in and 86 at the time of completing two terms.
Before Biden, Trump broke Ronald Reagan's record as the oldest president. He was 70 in January 2017 while Reagan was 69 at time of his first inauguration.
DailyMail.com breaks down what candidates are doing to show they are more physically fit for office than the two men most likely to win in 2024.
Concern continues to swirl that President Joe Biden, 80, is too old to serve another term – as 2024 candidates show off their physical prowess as proof they are more physically fit for the White House. DEMOCRAT ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR. SHOWS OFF HIS PUSH-UP SKILLS
Despite Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s age of 69, the Democratic candidate exhibited that he still has what it takes to 'drop and give you 20.'
In a June 25 tweet, Kennedy, known by his initials RFK JR., posted a tweeted with: 'Getting in shape for my debates with President Biden!'
It's unlikely that there will be any 2024 Democratic debates – as is customary with an incumbent president is running for his party's re-nomination.
A video along with the tweet showed a shirt-less RFK Jr. doing nine push-ups and struggling a bit at the end with the last two.
The anti-vaxxer Democratic candidate was wearing jeans with a black belt and tennis shoes. His jeans were lowered so the band of his undergarments could be seen during his push-up set.
'That's a good boy,' whoever was recording the video is heard after the push-up set.
It's highly unlikely RFK Jr.'s candidacy will go anywhere as he vies for the Democratic nomination. But that isn't stopping him from proving his physical prowess over his 11-years-senior competition.

GOV. DESANTIS TOUTS LITTLE LEAGUE AND COLLEGIATE BASEBALL CAREER
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis went to the Little League World Series and was a collegiate athlete as an outfielder for Yale University's baseball team.
The 44-year-old father of three wants to prove to voters that he's still got it.
Before entering the 2024 race, DeSantis tossed a ball with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade during an interview at his hometown's Little League stadium.
Also ahead of his announcement in late May, voters in early primary contest states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada started receiving DeSantis' college baseball cards in their mailbox.

The cards were distributed as Never Back Down PAC's efforts to push for DeSantis to enter the race. Instead of his baseball stats on the backside of the card, the PAC included DeSantis' conservative 'record' in Florida politics.
Along with playing college baseball, DeSantis also went to the Little League World Series in 1991 with the Dunedin Little League team.
At Yale, he spent four years as a starter for the Bulldogs and as a senior in 2001 held the team's best batting average. While in college at the Ivy League university, Desantis worked as a coach at a baseball camp.
In June 2017, when he was a congressman for Florida's 6th congressional district, DeSantis was present for the congressional baseball practice where a gunman opened fire. The shooter asked DeSantis and fellow Rep. Jeff Dunacan in the parking lot whether the players were Republicans or Democrats before opening fire.

SEN. SCOTT TOSSES THE PIGSKIN WITH CAMPAIGN MANAGER AND FLEXES MUSCLES ON INSTAGRAM
South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, 57, posted a video to Twitter wishing his campaign manager a Happy Birthday along with a video of them tossing a football in a park pavilion.
The video shows the 2024 presidential hopeful and lifelong bachelor lobbing the ball in a spiral fashion to his campaign manager Jennifer DeCasper, who, wearing a white dress and white sneakers, returns the football is a less graceful fashion.
Scott still caught the ball.
'Happy Birthday to the best campaign manager in the game!' he tweeted on June 27 and followed-up with a joke: 'Good thing your political instincts are better than your spiral.'
Additionally, while on the campaign trail in Iowa, Scott posted a selfie-video from what appeared to be a hotel gym. He recited a Bible verse as he 'prayed for guidance' and flexed his muscles for the camera.
'Good morning from the great state of Iowa,' the Senate's lone black Republican said. 'I'm here getting ready for the day – God bless. I hope you guys are getting ready for the day, as well.'
He continued: 'Ephesians 3:20 reminds me that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we ask or imagine.'
'I'm praying for guidance,' he signed-off before flexing his bicep for the camera.

VIVEK MAINTAINS HIS MORNING TENNIS ROUTINE
The youngest candidate in the running for president in 2024 is self-made bio-tech millionaire Vivek Ramaswamy, who at 37 is only two years above the age legally required to make a White House bid.
The father of two was a nationally ranked junior tennis player when in high school at St. Xavier's in Cincinnati, Ohio – and he continues to play to this day.
While on the trail in Iowa early in the primary season this winter, Ramaswamy told DailyMail.com that he got up early most days to play tennis before beginning busy days of campaign events.
He said that tennis is one of the only leisure activities he still makes time for.
A 35-second hype-up-style video posted to Twitter on June 15, 2023 previewed Ramaswamy's serve and tennis skills.

MAYOR SUAREZ CENTERED ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO AROUND A RUN THROUGH THE CITY OF MIAMI
Republican Miami Mayor Francis Suarez's presidential announcement video released last month made a play on the verb 'run.'
The video, titled 'I'm running,' starts out with an image of the mayor lacing up his sneakers on the edge of a fire hydrant and with his voice-over stating: 'I've always been a runner.'
The fit 45-year-old is then shown taking a job to different spots throughout the city he has been mayor of since 2017.
Suarez ran in a red athletic t-shirt and black shorts to his childhood home, his high school, Miami City Hall and several spots throughout the city and waterfront.
'I'm going to run for president. I'm going to run for your children and mine,' he said in conclusion of the video. 'It's time we get things started.'
In one part of the video, he is seen running onto the soccer field of a youth soccer game and giving out high-fives to the children playing.

MEANWHILE BIDEN CONTINUES TO FUMBLE THE BALL
Along with a series of verbal mishaps over the last two-and-a-half-years, President Joe Biden has also shown his physical agility and health is declining.
From falling off his bicycle during a ride at the beach last year to tripping to the ground over a sandbag at a graduation commencement address in May, Americans are starting to tune into the fact that Biden might not be fit for another four years.
The 80-year-old president continues to insist that he is fit, pointing to his policy record whenever the question is brought up in interviews.
In June 2022, Biden fell off his bicycle during a ride at Rehoboth Beach during a weekend at his Delaware vacation home. He said that his shoe got caught when he tried to come to a stop to speak with press and bystanders along the riding path.

Biden has many times fallen when traversing the grand and long ladder truck staircase up to the entrance of Air Force One. Reporters and photographers have noticed that the president has started in the last month taking the shorter staircase
Biden fell to the ground and was helped up by Secret Service agents and officials at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the spring.
The president tripped over a sandbag when exiting the stage following his commencement address. He fell to the ground and required assistance to get back on his feet.
Biden has also started using in the last few weeks the shorter stair-case on the underbelly of Air Force One, rather than the more grand ladder truck.
Some speculate that this is because he often stumbles when going up and down the long staircase so often.
