Brooklyn Bridge crash sparks NYC traffic chaos as female driver BLOCKS lanes and refuses to move

New Yorkers have lost their minds at a woman who blocked traffic on the city's iconic Brooklyn Bridge over a fender bender incident on Thursday. 

The woman parked in the middle of the busy city center bridge which links Brooklyn to Manhattan after allegedly being scraped by a vehicle from behind. 

A roadside confrontation between the female driver and several other motorists who emerged from their cars to shout at her during the 10:30am incident was captured in a viral 90 second clip. 

The man filming walked past a queue of cars, some beeping their horns in frustration, while two more men could also be seen remonstrating on the roadside. 

He marched up to the navy blue car at the head of the queue causing the blockage, which had scratches on the left flank, while airing his grievances in an expletive-laden tirade.

The expletive-laden 1 minute 30 second clip shows the roadside confrontation between the female driver and several motorists who emerged from their cars to shout at her

'Yo look at this,' the man told viewers as he approached the woman in the driving seat, wearing glasses, a black vest and silver hoop earrings and holding her phone aloft as she explained her situation to NYPD cops on speakerphone. 

'Everyone's trying to tell her that she should just move, but she's not,' the angry motorist said. 

Filming the car's slightly scratched flank, he raged: 'There's no damage - there's barely any damage!'

Another person could be heard shrieking 'she needs to move!!!!' off camera.  

Meanwhile, a third man with a strong New York accent crouched towards the motorist's window to speak with her directly.

'Just pull over so the rest of the traffic can pass,' he pleaded. 'You're breaking the law -there's no injury.'

The woman retaliates, telling him: 'The police are telling me ---' but he interrupts. 

'You are on speaker ma'am,' she tells the cops. 'I'm now being harassed by three different men.'

The New York man shouts: 'She's on Brooklyn Bridge and she's refusing to pull over!

'As you're speaking, she has room to pull over!!!'

The woman hit back as he apparently showered her with saliva from shouting close to her face.  

'You're spitting at me too,' she says. 'As you're talking, you're f***ing spitting at me.'

The woman talks with NYPD cops on speakerphone while the men approach her window pleading with her to move 

The guy who caused the chaos by allegedly bumping into the side of the woman's car and leaving the scratches stays safely inside his vehicle the entire time 

The man filming momentarily switched to his front camera and remarks: 'Only in Brooklyn'.

'By the way, this is going on the internet,' he teold the driver, who retorts 'I don't care'.

The guy who caused the chaos by allegedly bumping into the side of the woman's car and leaving the scratches stayed safely inside his vehicle the entire time, gazing ahead while wearing a seatbelt and COVID facemask. 

Pointing the camera at him, the man filming ranted: 'And this f***ing guy is a f***ing idiot for rear-ending some b**** to begin with - what the F***!' 

People on Reddit also slammed the motorist in the comment section of the video. 

One person said: 'Jesus lady how hard is it to pull off to the side?', while another joked: 'Cops won't be able to get there because they can't get through the traffic.' 

Others dubbed her a 'Karen' and an 'asshole' for her road-blocking antics.
