Former Mets pitcher Matt Harvey has reportedly been dumped by his model girlfriend Monica Clark because he is 'obsessed' with his new job in real estate.
Harvey quit baseball in May this year and the 34-year-old has since taken on a new job as an executive at a real estate firm, according to Page Six.
The publication says Harvey and Clark got together in the spring but their summer romance is as far as things got due to the level of his commitment to his new job.
A source was quoted as saying: 'It just didn't make sense overall. He just became obsessed with his new job.'
Clark, who is from Australia, and Harvey had apparently known each other for a while before they got together.

As well as being a model, Clark also works for the Scott Sartino-owned Zero Bond members' club in New York.
Harvey works for property giant Newmark as a managing director in the company's Capital Markets Strategies division.
He brought the curtain down on his career last May, ending a complicated relationship with the Mets.
In February 2022, during an appearance at the Tyler Skaggs trial, Harvey admitted regularly using cocaine while in New York. He was banned for 60 games as a result of his admission.
As well as time with the Mets, Harvey also played for Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Angels, as well as Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles.
He has previously dated supermodels Adriana Lima and Anne Vyalitsyna.
Announcing his retirement last May, Harvey wrote on Instagram: 'With all the amazing memories came a lot of injuries and tough times. The realization that those amazingly powerful moments that make me thrive as a pitcher and help my teammates and city win are no longer possible.
'Believe me I wish I could have done more and brought more of those amazing moments back to life. I have to say this is my time to say thank you, and goodbye.
