Parents and nannies on NYC's well-heeled Upper East Side say they're being creeped out by identical adult female twins with ties to Jay-Z and Robert DeNiro.

Gabriela and Mihaela Modorcea have been spotted lurking around the John Jay Park playground, despite not having any kids, causing outrage among the local parenting community.

The two 40-year-old women, who are known as the 'Indiggo', have drawn widespread concern from parents who frequent the park.

A worried mum says the twins have been seen going inside the playground borders without children of their own and asking kids personal questions.

They have also been seen 'taking photos of kids for their social media' and pretend they are performers to film reactions.

'This is my daughter’s playground. I don’t want adults around children,' Paulina, a 35-year-old mother of four, told The Post

'I don’t know why they’re not doing something better with their lives instead of hanging out at a playground. You have to draw the line.'

One nanny, who asked for anonymity, said their presence is disturbing and upsetting people.

'It’s really scary,' she said.

A series of outraged caregivers have been airing their frustration on community Facebook pages.

'If you’re not with kids, stay out of the playground,' one parent wrote.

'Omg what is wrong with them???? Need an a*s kicking,' said another.

'Call whoever you have to call to keep our kids safe,' a third pleaded.

In an email, a District 5 representative said their office followed up with the Parks Division who have been sending PEP officers to routinely check the playground.

Parents have been encouraged to call NYPD if the pair are spotted there.

A Parks Division representative has advised the 'two ladies are not allowed in the playground'.

'We are doing our best to address this matter. I do understand it's very sad that these two ladies don't understand the parks rules,' they said.

But the women don't believe they're doing anything wrong.

'We’ve lived here for 16 years. For 16 years we’ve gone to John Jay. It’s the closest to us. It’s a completely false alarm,' Gabriela said.

They claim to have moved to the U.S to pursue a music career in 2006, living in a humble Upper East Side apartment with their mother.

The women have achieved some success, appearing on America's Got Talent in 2008.

They appear to have made friends in celebrity circles, with pictures showing them hanging out with actor Ethan Hawke and singer Pharrell Williams.

Jay-Z sampled one of their songs for his Watch The Throne album in 2011 and were pictured kissing Robert DeNiro at a Vanity Fair party.

'The way we look [in the groups on social media] – we look like criminals. Hardcore criminals. My weapon is love,' Gabriela said.

'We’re Christians, we’re all about promoting love and light.'

As a result of their perceived disturbance, a sign has been posted on the playground that says 'no adults with the accompany of a child' - but the pair say they don't intend to bring any harm.

'It’s a completely false alarm. It’s the opposite,' Mihaela added. 'We love children beyond belief.'

'Once they have spirituality and love is blooming inside their heart they will know how to distinguish who is someone who will harm your child and who is filled with love,' she said. 'It’s challenging, weird times where people are overly crazy.'

In a statement, the Parks Department said: 'We will be increasing our patrols of our Parks Enforcement officers around the playground to monitor.'
