Mother-to-be goes viral after posing for a FUNERAL-themed pregnancy shoot to announce she's expecting her first child

A mother-to-be has bid farewell to being 'kid free' by posing for a funeral-themed pregnancy shoot. 

Cheridan Logsdon, 23, from Frankfort, Kentucky, went viral after sharing portraits of herself in a black strapless dress paired with pearls, a crown of black roses, and a sheer veil. 

She was photographed dabbing her eyes with a handkerchief as if she were at a funeral, but she wasn't mourning a loved one.   

Logsdon held up her black and white sonogram in the pictures to announce that she is expecting her first child — and will no longer have her freedom.

The mom-to-be took to Facebook to share portraits of herself in a black strapless dress paired with pearls, a crown of black roses, and a veil.

Logsdon was photographed dabbing her eyes with a handkerchief as she mourned the loss of her freedom 

'R.I.P to being kid free!' she wrote in the Facebook caption. 'At the ripe age of 23, the young and turnt, rich auntie has finally transitioned over to a mother.' 

One photo shows her in the woods with a black leather jacket on her shoulders and her veil covering her face as she holds her sonogram. 

In another, she is standing in a studio and wiping an imaginary tear away with her perfectly manicured finger. 

A more artistic shot shows her walking through the woods with her hand at her side, her sonogram facing the camera. 

Logsdon made it clear in the caption that she is excited to become a mom and the funeral-themed shoot was done in jest. 

'All jokes aside, I’m truly excited to start this new chapter in my life! Still can’t believe it but it’s growing on me, iykyk,' she wrote. 

She concluded her message by telling her family and friends to 'save the date' for her gender reveal on October 8. 

Logsdon's pictures have been shared 11,000 times and have received 14,000 reactions since they were posted on September 17.

Logsdon has been encouraging fans to follow her on Instagram, and she already has plans for more pregnancy shoots.  

'Now I gotta come up with something just as different for the maternity shoots & yes with an S because there will be multiple,' she wrote in a recent post.
