A single mom has revealed how she almost died after being stabbed in the chest by a 15-year-old who asked for help before attacking her and stealing her car.
Giselle Andino, 33, was parked at the Civic Center Transit Station in Vista, San Diego, when a 15-year-old approached her car asking for help.
The teenage boy went up to Andino in her car and asked to use her phone before attacking her through the drivers seat window. He brutally stabbed her three times in the chest.
Andino - a single mom to 8-year-old McKenzie - survived three stab wounds from the brutal attack but was left in critical condition.
She told ABC7: 'He was aiming for the heart every time so he wanted me dead'.

The attack happened at 10:30pm on Sunday.
The 33-year-old saw the teen leave and re-enter the parking lot before he approached her car to ask if he could use her phone.
Andino said: 'I didn't know if he needed to call his parents or what it was so so I was offering my help'.
The car window was down just enough for him to reach in and stab her.
He then opened the door and stabbed her twice more, dragged her out into the parking lot and hopped in the drivers seat before he drove off in her car.
The single mom described the weapon that the teen used as a 'steak knife' and said the stabs 'hurt like hell'.
Andino was afraid she would not survive and the only thing she could think about was her 8-year-old daughter.
She has a disease that causes her to bleed more than normal when injured so she was especially scared for her life.
The horrific stabbing attack left the victim in the hospital with life-threatening injuries - but Andino said she feels lucky to be alive.
'I do feel lucky yes because when I was calling for help I really didn't think I was gonna see my kid again'
The 15-year-old was tracked down by police and wrecked the stolen Mercedes after a car-chase that ended just before entering the State Route 76 freeway.
After he crashed the car he ran off and was finally arrested after a 20 minute foot chase.
As Andino recovered in hospital she said: 'Nowadays the way things are you can't trust anybody - not even a 15-year old kid,
'Much as you want to be helpful for someone you just can't trust anyone and it's sad.'

San Diego had a population of 1,462,018 and the city saw around 31,000 crimes in 2022.
Statistics showed that overall crime rates in the California city fell from 2021 to 2022 - but violent crime hit a 10 year high in San Diego.
This rise was fueled by a 10 percent increase in robberies in the democrat-run city. 36 percent of robberies happened on the streets or in other public places. There was also a slight increase in burglary and motor vehicle thefts.
San Diego's mayor - democrat Todd Gloria - made an effort during his time in office to clear the sidewalks of homeless encampments for the overall safety and health of the progressive city's residents.
