A private chef has recalled the head-splitting moment she got a concussion at the Cheesecake Factory - ironically, from a block of parmesan cheese.
New York-based Meredith Hayden, 27, retold the story as she grated some cheese onto a delicious looking bowl of gnocchi in a recent video.
Meredith, who works for designer Joseph Altuzarra and is more commonly known for her TikTok cooking account Wishbone Kitchen, explained the incident happened as a result of some forceful cheese grating.
'I got a concussion one time at the Cheesecake Factory,' she began her headache-inducing tale in the TikTiok, which has been viewed over 1.6 million times.

She said the cheese slipped out of the waiter's hand and hit her in the head, and she then smacked her head on the back of the booth
Luckily the incident hasn't scarred her for life, and the kitchen whizz still loves cheese
'The guy was grating cheese on my pasta, and [the block] slipped out of his hand and hit me in the head, and I smacked and hit my head on the back of the booth,' she explained.
'The block of Parmesan cheese is like, that big,' she continued, showing the size with her hands.
'But, yeah, I got a concussion,' she said. 'Crazy.'
The kitchen whizz then added she didn't sue the chain restaurant, but 'probably could have.'
TikTok users were in disbelief over her crazy story.
'"I got a concussion one time at the cheesecake factory" is top 10 cold opens of 2023 for me,' one user joked.
'WHATTTTTT how is that even possible,' said said another in disbelief. 'That's CRZY.'
'I'm now going to think about this every time I grate parmesan,' said another.
'The velocity of that cheese though, observed another user. 'Ouch.'
Others agreed she should have gotten some sort of compensation for the parmesan-induced head injury.
