The Florida skydiver, who was seen in the reflection of a car's window seconds before hitting the ground and dying, has been identified as a 69-year-old lawyer.

Frederick Morello, 69, of Ormond Beach was found dead in a homeowner's yard near Arthur-Dunn Airpark in Titusville, Florida, Saturday.

'He hit the ground. Bounced off the driveway into their grass. Almost like a basketball that's just how hard he hit the ground like someone bounced him up. It's hard,' the homeowner James Sconiers told FOX35

Morello, an experienced skydiver, graduated from Georgetown Law School in 1987 and had been practicing in federal and Florida courts since then.

Founding his law firm in 1992, Morello had been a civil trial and appellate lawyer for over 20 years but 'a skydiver at heart', who posted dozens of pictures of him leaping out of planes and skydiving on his website.

'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away,' the attorney wrote in a page titled 'Fred's Passion' followed by his skydiving pictures.

Around 12.25pm Saturday, Morello was seen in the reflection of the back car window that was parked in the driveway of a Titusville, Florida, home.

He hit the pavement and was found dead outfitted in a neon yellow parachute gear, authorities said.

Sconiers approached the man and repeatedly asked if he could hear him but got no response.

'I'm so heartbroken for the family,' said Sconiers, a Vietnam Veteran. 'And for those he jumped with that saw it from up there. I hurt for them.'

Sconiers told WKMG: 'Look at the video and look at what happened. Why did he fall so hard if all the safety mechanisms in place? Something tells me there's a problem there.'

Witnesses said the experienced skydiver had his parachute fully deployed, but he still landed at a high rate of speed and crashed to his death in a resident's driveway.

Police revealed the man was found just about a block away from the Arthur Dunn Airpark.

Sconier appeared to have skydived from the same departure point with photos of him skydiving on his website being credited to the Skydive Space Center.

At the time of the accident, the Titusville Fire Department post on X and said: '**Skydiver down** Report of skydiver down on Merry Ln. this located just adjacent to Arthur-Dunn Airpark.'

No further details have been released on what exactly happened, but Sconiers insisted that the Florida community, shaken by the tragedy, needs answers.

'God forbid I'm right here, you know, and from a safety perspective we need to make sure things is the way it's supposed to be,' Sconiers said.

Titusville Police said they would release more information once the investigation is complete.

DailyMail.com reached out to the department but did not get an immediate response.
